The invention relates to medicine and can be used for the eradication of Helicobacter in the treatment of peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum.

Currently, most authors believe that Helicobacter is the most common of human infections and its persistence contributes to the development of about 100% of duodenal ulcers and more than 80% of stomach ulcers (Heatley R.V. Helicobacter pylori. Handbook, Oxford, 1998).

A known method of treating peptic ulcer proceeding against the background of Helicobacter infection, which consists in conducting three or four component anti-Helicobacter therapy, consisting of one antisecretory and two or three antibacterial drugs. For this purpose, a combination of omeprazole with metronidazole and clarithromycin is used. Sometimes clarithromycin is replaced with oletetrin.
