Abstract

The invention relates to the design of a hold on board a refrigerator ship, with pallet shelves (6) arranged on supports (14) and with thermal insulation (4) that has an inside sheet metal covering (5). Under the supports (14) bearing the pallet shelves (6) there are underlays (9) that are made from a load-bearing material and that rest on supporting structures of the ship; these underlays (9) pass through the insulating material of the thermal insulation (4) and its covering (5), stand out from the surrounding thermal insulation and have a waterproof covering (11) which overlaps the sheet metal covering (5) of the surrounding thermal insulation (4), which forms a waterproof joint with it and on which is secured a baseplate (13) for the support (14). In the region of a rail (16) of a conveyor system for the stackable pallets there is also, under this base rail (16) of the conveyor system, an underlay (9) which rests on supporting structures of the ship, passes through the insulating material of the thermal insulation (4), stands out from the surrounding thermal insulation and has a waterproof covering (11) that overlaps the sheet metal covering (5) of the surrounding insulation, forms a waterproof joint with it and supports the base rail (16).
