Abstract
Oppfinnelsen angår et radiosystem og en fremgangsmåte for styring av sendeeffekt i et radiosystem som omfatter en basestasjon eller flere basestasjoner (100) som kommuniserer med abonnent-tenminalutstyr (106-100) som befinner seg innen dens område, i hvilken fremgangsmåte utstyrenes sendeeffekt styres trinnvis ved hjelp av effektstyrings-kommandoer, og i hvilken fremgangsmåte trinnstørrelsen for en forandring i sendeeffekt justeres separat for hver forbindelse. For å muliggjøre nøyaktig og hurtig effektstyring, justeres trinnstørrelsen i fremgangsmåten ifølge oppfinnelsen på grunnlag av flere mottatte suksessive effektstyrings-kommandoer på en slik måte at fra de effektstyrings-kommandoer som skal undersøkes, beregnes antallet to suksessive kommandoer i forskjellige retninger i forhold til antallet kommandoer som skal undersøkes, og at det beregnede forholdet sammenlignes med en referanseverdi, og at trinnstørrelsen justeres på grunnlag av denne sammenligningen.
