Abstract
Oppfinnelsen er en sammensetning som er egnet for reduksjon av svovelforbindelser fra produkter fremstilt ved petroleumsraffineriprosesser, spesielt bensinprodukter fremstilt ved fluidisert katalytisk krakking (FCC)-prosesser. Sammensetningen omfatter zeolitt, yttrium og minst et grunnstoff valgt fra gruppen bestående av sink, magnesium og mangan, hvori yttriumet og grunnstoffet er tilstede som kationer. Yttriumet og sinken er fortrinnsvis tilstede som kationer som har blitt byttet på zeolitten. Zeolitten er fortrinnsvis en zeolitt Y.
