Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for å biase signal-til-interferensforhold (SIR) for å generere kanalkvalitetsindikator (CQI) som inkluderer måling av pakkefeilraten (PER) til et mottatt signal og å sammenligne PER med en målsatt PER for å generere et korreksjonsuttrykk. Korreksjonsuttrykket blir kombinert med SIR estimatet til en referansekanal for å generere en CQI. CQI er rapporter til en sender som justerer signalkonfigurasjoner, slik som koderate, modulasjonstype, antallet av koder, effektavvik.
