Abstract
Un método para polarizar una relación entre señal e interferencia (SIR) para generar un indicador de calidad de canal (CQI) incluye medir la velocidad de error de paquete (PER) de una señal recibida y comparar la PER con la PER objetivo para generar un término de corrección. El término de corrección es combinado con la estimación de SIR de un canal de referencia para generar un CQI. El CQI es informado a un transmisor para ajustar configuraciones de señal, como ser velocidad de código, tipo de modulación, número de códigos, desplazamiento de potencia.
