Description
Sigarettfilter.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår nye sigarettfiltere av celluloseacetatfibre eller
-vatt som i forhold til kjente filtere har en
høy absorpsjonsevne overfor sure bestanddeler i tobakksrøk.
I norsk patent nr. 112 060 beskrives
et sigarettfilter bestående av celluloseacetatfibre eller -vatt som er karakterisert
ved at celluloseacetatfibrene er impregnert
med en carboxylsyrealkylester eventuelt
sammen med glyceroltriacetat. Disse filtere
har en utmerket absorpsjonsevne overfor
basiske bestanddeler i tobakksrøk, som f.
eks. nicotin. Da carboxylsyrealkylestrene
som anvendes for impregnering samtidig
virker som herde- og tverrbindingsmidler,
fikseres disse forbindelser fast på celluloseacetatfibrene og kan ikke rives med av
røken slik at denne ikke påvirkes smaks-messig uheldig.
Det har vist seg at ved impregnering
av celluloseacetatfibre i sigarettfiltere med
organiske, basiske stoffer som også virker
som herdemiddel for filteret, fåes en selek-tiv absorpsjon av sure bestanddeler i to-bakksrøken. Som spesielt velegenet ab-sorpsjonsmidler for påføring på celluloseacetatfibre kan nevnes estere av en- eller
flerverdige aminosyrer (f. eks. estere av
glycin, asparaginsyre, glutaminsyre og (3-aminotricarballylsyre), ester av glycin og
hydroxycarboxylsyreestere (f. eks. glycin
og triethylcitrat) eller av glycin og delvis
forestrede polyalkoholer (f. eks. glycin og
diacetin), estere av organiske monocarbo-xylsyrer eller delvis forestrede polycarbo-
xylsyrer og aminoalkoholer (f. eks. 3-di-ethylamino-propandiol-1,2) og aminoethere (f eks P.-aminodiethylether).
Det er riktignok allerede blitt foreslått
å sette basiske stoffer til tobakksrøkfiltere for å absorbere sure søkbestanddeler. Disse stoffer virker imidlertid ikke som herde-midler for celluloseacetatfibrene slik at de ikke vil fikseres på disse, men vil rives med av tobakksrøken og derved øye uheldig inn-flytelse på tobakksrøkens smak.
Impregneringen av celluloseacetatfibrene med de stoffer som anvendes ifølge foreliggende oppfinnelse, finner sted på vanlig måte, f. eks. ved påsprøytning eller neddykking. Ved å kombinere de beskrevne sigarettf iltre i norsk patent nr. 112 060 med filtrene ifølge foreliggende oppfinnelse kan tobakksrøkfiltere fremstilles som absorberer både sure og basiske røkbe-standdeler.
Claims (2)
1. Siagrettfilter bestående av acetyl-cellulosefibre eller -vatt impregnert med alkaliske stoffer, karakterisert ved at det som impregneringsmidler er anvendt organiske, basiske forbindelser som virker som herde- henholdsvis tverrbin-dingsmidel for fibrene.
2. Sigarettfilter ifølge påstand 1, karakterisert ved at det som impreg-neringsmiddel er anvendt estere av en- og flerverdige aminosyrer, aminoalkoholer eller aminoethere.
