Abstract

The clip is of the type comprising a clasp (1) and a strap (2) whose ends are threaded through the clasp and bent over to maintain the strap in tension. When fixed, the strap ends n13) leave a gap between them which is bridged by a central portion (2a) of the clasp, which presses on the hose (16). The clasp may be provided with two parallel slots (9, 10) for the strap, at least one of which may be formed by bending a cut-out lip (3, 4) outwards from the clasp. The lip may act as a stop for a strap end provided with a thicker section (13) which may be formed by a 180 deg. bend at the strap end.
