A CHAIN CASE (80) FOR A REAR WHEEL IN A MOTORCYCLE (10) WHEREIN AN ENGINE (21) IS MOUNTED ON A BODY FRAME (11), THE REAR WHEEL IS SECURED TO THE BODY FRAME VERTICALLY MOVABLY THROUGH A SWING ARM (23), AND A CHAIN (64) STRETCHED BETWEEN A DRIVING SPROCKET ON THE ENGINE SIDE AND A DRIVEN SPROCKET (63) ON THE REAR WHEEL SIDE IS COVERED. THE CHAIN CASE COMPRISES A CASE COVER (81) ATTACHED TO THE ENGINE (21) FOR COVERING A FRONT PORTION OF THE CHAIN, A REAR CASE (82) ATTACHED TO THE SWING ARM (23) FOR COVERING A REAR PORTION OF THE CHAIN, AND AN INTERMEDIATE SHIELDING PLATE (91) ATTACHED TO THE SWING ARM (23) FOR COVERING THE SPACE BETWEEN A REAR END OF THE CASE COVER AND A FRONT END OF THE REAR CASE (82).(FIG 2)
