Abstract
Un método de reconocimiento de semáforo y un dispositivo de reconocimiento de semáforo estiman si o no un vehículo puede desacelerarse en una aceleración de desaceleración predeterminada y puede detenerse antes de una línea de detención con base en una posición de la línea de detención correspondiente a un semáforo localizado en una dirección de desplazamiento del vehículo, seleccionan el semáforo correspondiente a la línea de detención como un semáforo objetivo en un caso donde se estima que el vehículo no puede detenerse antes de la línea de detención, establecen el área de detección correspondiente al semáforo objetivo en una imagen obtenida capturando la dirección de desplazamiento del vehículo, y determinan un estado de despliegue del semáforo objetivo ejecutando procesamiento de imágenes sobre el área de detección.
