Abstract
En la presente se proporcionan sistemas y métodos para utilizar tales sistemas, para producir ácido acrílico a partir de óxido de etileno y monóxido de carbono a escala industrial. El sistema de producción/proceso de producción tiene varias operaciones de unidades que incluyen, por ejemplo, un sistema de producción/proceso de producción de p-propiolactona configurado para producir P-propiolactona a partir de óxido de etileno y monóxido de carbono; un sistema de producción/proceso de producción de polipropiolactona configurado para producir polipropiolactona a partir de 3-propiolactona; y un sistema de producción/proceso de producción de ácido acrílico glacial configurado para producir ácido acrílico con alta pureza mediante termólisis de polipropiolactona.
