Abstract
Un aparato de coraza y tubos (1), adecuado para su uso como un evaporador de calor residual, comprendiendo un recipiente con una sección de intercambio (2) y una sección de separación (3), caracterizado porque: dicha sección de intercambio (2) contiene un conjunto de tubos en U (4) alimentados con un medio líquido evaporable tal como agua (W) y expuestos a un gas caliente (G) que fluye en una cámara caliente alrededor de dichos tubos, de manera que dicho medio es parcialmente evaporado en los tubos a la vez que se recupera el calor del gas caliente que fluye en la cámara caliente (7); dicha sección de separación (3) comprende una cámara colectora (16) en comunicación con la salida de los tubos (4) a fin de recibir el medio parcialmente evaporado que deja los tubos; dicha sección de separación (3) está dispuesta para proveer la separación de la fracción de vapor y la fracción líquida del medio parcialmente evaporado por lo menos parcialmente por gravedad; el aparato también comprende medios para controlar el nivel de líquido en la cámara colectora y para un reciclaje parcial del líquido no evaporado.
