Abstract

La invención se refiere a un proceso para producir una parte hueca rotativamente simétrica, en particular un eje, que incluye: proporcionar un material sólido en forma de barra; calentar el material sólido sustancialmente a la temperatura de forja; cilindrar por perfilación transversal el material sólido, ocasionando mediante esto debilitamiento en la zona de núcleo del material sólido; e insertar al menos un mandril rotatorio que se acciona a una velocidad predeterminada sustancialmente a lo largo del eje central del material sólido cilindrado por perfilación transversal, quedando mediante esto un agujero pasante y una parte hueca rotativamente simétrica, en particular un eje.
