Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para tratar partes de plantas recien cortadas, mediante el cual se prolonga la vida de almacenamiento de las partes, caracterizado porque comprende sumergir las partes de plantas en una solución comprende: (a) aproximadamente de 0.25 a 1 por ciento de un antioxidante; (b) aproximadamente de 0.5 a 2 por ciento un secuestrante metálico que comprende una sal polifosfato ácido de metal alcalino; (c) aproximadamente de 0.25 a 1 por ciento de un aidulante; y (d) aproximadamente de 0.5 de 2 por ciento de un inhibidor enzimático de cloruro inorgánico. Una composición seca en partículas, adaptada para tratar partes de plantas recien cortadas, mediante la cual se prolonga la vida de almacenamiento de las plantas, caracterizado dicho tratamiento porque comprende una sola inmersión en solución acuosa, a la temperatura ambiente, que comprende: (a) aproximadamente de 15 por ciento a 20 por ciento de un antioxidante; (b) aproximadamente de 30 por ciento a 35 por ciento de un secuestrante metálico que comprende una sal polifosfato ácido de metal alcalino; (c) aproximadamente de 15 por ciento a 20 por ciento de un acidulante; y (d) aproximadamente de 30 por ciento a 35 por ciento de un inhibidor enzimático de cloruro inorgánico.
