Abstract

본 발명의 소조립체는 조향 핸들, 상대적인 회전을 방지하는 방식으로 조향 핸들에 결합된 조향 샤프트(20), 그리고 조향 핸들 내측에 배치된 에어백을 전개시킬 가스 발생기(31)를 구비한다. 조향 샤프트(20)는 그 종방향 축을 따라 연장하여 적어도 조향 핸들에 인접한 조향 샤프트(20)의 단부에서 개방된 공동(23)을 구비한다. 조향 핸들은 허브(10)와 이 허브의 개구부(11)를 구비하며, 이 개구부를 통해 공동(23)이 허브(10)의 내부와 유체 연통하고 있다. 이 공동(23)에 배치된 가스 발생기(31)는 긴 하우징을 구비한다. 또한, 가스 발생기(31)는 조향 샤프트(20)의 공동(23)에 축방향으로 유지된다. 조향 핸들 속에는 가스 발생기가 없기 때문에, 소조립체의 크기와 중량은 줄어든다.

Claims (8)

  1. 조향 핸들, 상대적인 회전을 방지하는 방식으로 조향 핸들에 결합된 조향 샤프트(20), 그리고 조향 핸들 내측에 배치된 에어백을 전개시킬 가스 발생기(31)를 포함하는 소조립체에 있어서, 상기 조향 샤프트(20)는 그 종방향 축을 따라 연장하여 적어도 조향 핸들에 인접한 조향 샤프트(20)의 단부에서 개방된 공동(23)을 구비하며, 상기 조향 핸들은 허브(10) 및 이 허브 내의 개구부(11)를 구비하며, 상기 공동(23)은 허브(10)의 내부와 유체 연통하며, 상기 공동(23)에 배치되는 상기 가스 발생기(31)는 긴 하우징을 구비하며, 상기 가스 발생기(31)는 조향 샤프트(20)의 공동(23)에 축방향으로 유지되는 것을 특징으로 하는 소조립체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 조향 핸들에 인접한 단부에서 조향 샤프트(20)의 단부면에 의해 지지면(24)이 형성되며, 개구부(11)를 둘러싸고 허브(10)의 외측에 형성된 표면에 의해 클램핑면(16)이 형성되며, 가스 발생기(31)의 하우징은 클램핑면(16)과 지지면(24) 사이에 고정되는 반경 방향 외향으로 연장하는 칼라(32)를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 소조립체.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 가스 발생기(31)의 하우징은 개구부(11)를 통해 허브(10)의 내부로 연장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 소조립체.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 허브(10)의 내측에는 클램핑면(16)이 형성되어 있는 컵 형상의 유지부(40)가 제공되고, 반경 방향 내향으로 연장한 비드(25)가 조향 샤프트(20)의 내측면에 형성되고, 가스 발생기(31)의 하우징은 지지면(24)과 비드(25) 사이의 일지점에서 고정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 소조립체.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 지지면(24)과 가스 발생기(31) 사이에 스프링(50)이 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 소조립체.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 조향 핸들에 인접한 단부의 크기가 감소된 견부(60) 상에 클램핑면(16)이 형성되고, 홀(23) 속에 배치되어 클램핑된 대응 지지 요소(64) 상기 지지면(24)이 형성되고, 상기 가스 발생기의 하우징은 상기 클램핑면(16)과 지지면(24) 사이에서 고정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 소조립체.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 클램핑면(16)과 조향 핸들에 인접한 가스 발생기(31)의 단부 사이에 튜브 요소(70)가 클램핑되고, 이 튜브 요소는 개구부(11)를 통해 허브(10)의 내부로 연장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 소조립체.
  8. 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 조향 핸들은 유니온 너트(30)에 의해 조향 샤프트(20)와 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 소조립체.
