Claims (10)
- (a) 적당한 용매에서 적어도 하나의 공액 디엔을 유기-알칼리 금속 중합 개시제와 중합 또는 공중합하여 리빙 중합체를 생성하고, (b) H2의 첨가에 의해 중합을 정지시키고, 및 (c) 탄화수소 리튬 및 알콕시 리튬 화합물의 부재하에서, 적어도 하나의 하기 일반식의 비스(시클로펜타디에닐) 티타늄 화합물.상기식에서 R1및 R2는 동일하거나 상이하고, 할로겐기, C1-C8알킬 및 알콕시기, C6-C8아릴옥시기, 아르알킬, 시클로알킬기, 실릴기 및 카르보닐기로 구성된 군으로부터 선택됨)의 존재하에 중합체를 수소와 접촉시켜 상기 정지된 중합체의 공액 디엔 단위내 이중결합을 선택적으로 수소화하는 단계들로 구성된, 알킬 벤조 에이트를 단계(c)에서 중합체의 수소화를 향상시키기 위하여 촉진제로서 사용함을 특징으로 하는 공액 디엔 중합체의 수소화 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 알킬 벤조 에이트 C1-C5알킬 벤조에이트인 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, C1-C5알킬 벤조에이트가 메틸 벤조에이트인 방법.
- 제1 내지 3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 티타늄 대 알킬 벤조에이트의 몰비가 1:1 내지 6:1의 범위인 방법.
- 제1 내지 4항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 수소화는 약 0℃ 내지 120℃의 범위내 온도에서 및 1바아(1psig) 내지 84바아(1200psig)의 범위내 수소 부분 압력에서 실행되고, 촉매 농도는 중합체 100g당 티타늄 0.01mmol 내지 20mmol의 범위내이며, 접촉은 30 내지 360분 범위내 기간 동안 일어나는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 수소화는 60-90℃ 범위내 온도에서 및 8 내지 15바아(100 내지 psig) 범위내 압력에서 실행되고, 촉매 농도는 중합체 100g당 티타늄 0.04 내지 1.0mmol의 범위내인 방법.
- 제1 내지 6항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 티타늄 화합물은 비스(시클로펜타디에닐)티타늄 클로라이드인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 수소화 동안 알칼리 금속; 티타늄 금속 비는 적어도 2:1인 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 수소화 촉매의 첨가 전에, 수소화될 중합체에 유기 알칼리 금속 화합물 및 수소를 첨가함으로써 알칼리 금속 수소화물이 중합체에 첨가되는 방법.
- 제1-9항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 공액 디엔은 부타디엔인 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
