Abstract

수평연속주조 있어서, 흑연주형(5)내의 용탕(2)의 온도변동 및 불균일한 온도분포를 방지하고 이로인해 주괴깨어짐이나 브레이크아우트의 발생을 방지하고 우수한 품질의 주괴를 주조한다. 보온로(1)에 저류된 용탕(2)을 보온전원히터(4)에 의해 가열해서 일정온도로 보존하고, 보온로(1)내의 용탕(2)을 내화물제의 게이트(11)를 통해서 흑연주형(5)내로 유도하고, 수냉자켓(8)에 의해 냉각해서 주괴(7)를 연속적으로 주조한다.

제1도는 실시예의 수평주조장치의 단면도,
제2도는 실시예의 게이트의 사시도,
제3도는 다른 실시예의 게이트의 사시도.

Claims (4)

  1. 보온로에 저류된 용탕을 가열원에 의해 가열해서 일정온도로 보존하고, 보온로내의 용탕을 내화물제의 게이트를 통해 주형내에 도입하고, 주조공간을 수평 방향으로 통과시켜서 주괴를 주조하는 것을 특징으로 하는 수평 연속주조 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 게이트가 흑연 또는 세라믹스로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 수평연속주조 방법.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 게이트공 또는 슬릿을 갖고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 수평연속주조 방법.
  4. 용탕을 저류하는 보온로와 이 보온로에 저류된 용탕을 가열하는 가열원과, 상기 보온로로부터 용탕을 도입해서 주조공간을 수평방향으로 통과시켜서 주괴를 주조하도록 상기 보온로의 측면에 접속하는 주형과, 이 주형의 용탕입구측에 설치된 내화물제의 게이트를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 수평연속 주조장치.
