Claims (3)
- 입력영상신호의 각 프레임을 보다 작은 화소데이터의 블록으로 분할하는 공정과, 상기 블록자체 및 그 주위의 블록을 조사해서 상기 블록이 에지블록으로서 분류되는지의 여부를 결정하는 상기 각 블록을 에지검출처리하는 공정과, 상기 블록이 에지블록으로서 분류되지 않으면, 상기 블록이 DCT계수로 이산적코사인변환, 양자화, 지그재그주사 및 가변길이부호에 의해 런렝스부호화되는, 상기 블록을 이산적 코사인변환부호처리하는 공정과, 상기블록이 에지블록으로서 분류되면, 상기 블록의 화소값이 추정되고, 상기 화소값과 추정값간의 차가 양자화되며, 가변길이부호에 의해 런렝스부호화되는, 상기 에지블록을 차분펄스부호 변조처리하는 공정으로 이루어진 영상 신호 부호화 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 블록을 이산적 코사인 변환부호화처리 또는 상기 차분펄스부호변조처리하기 전에, 상기 블록이 시간적 용장을 감소하기 위하여 이동보상처리되는 영상신호부호화방법.
- 제1항에 의한 부호화방법에 의해 부화화된 영상신호를 복호화하는 영상신호복호화방법에 있어서, 가변길이부호화된 런렝스부호를 복호화하여, 부호화된 프레임의 각 블록의 양자화계수를 재구성하는 공정과, 각 복호화된 양자화된 계수블록이 이산적 코사인변환부호화처리에 의해 부호화 되어 있으면, 상기 각 복호화된 양자와 계수블록을 역양자화처리 및 역이산적 코사인변환처리하여, 프레임버퍼에 위치될 블록화소값을 재구성하는 공정과, 상기 복호화된 양자화된 계수블록이 차분펄스부호변조처리에 의해 부호화되어 있으면, 양자화된 계수블록의 각 계수를 역양자화하고, 추정된 최소값을 부가하여, 프레임버퍼에 위치될 블록화값을 재구성하는 공정으로 이루어진 영상신호복호화방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
