Claims (5)

  1. 수용성, 에틸렌성 불포화 모노머, 물, 수용성 중합개시제와 임의로 수용성 가교제로 이루어진 수성 모노머 용액의 분산상과 분산매를 포함하는 유기용매의 연속상으로 구성된 유중수적형의 분산에서 수용성 에틸렌성 불포화 모노머를 중합시켜서 고흡수성의 폴리머를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 수성 모노머 용액을 소정의 온도에서 상기 유기용매에 첨가하여 수중유적형의 분산을 형성하고, 이 수중유적형의 분산을 유중수적형의 분산으로 변형되는 역상온도로 최소한 가열시켜서 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 고흡수성 폴리머의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 수용성, 에틸렌성 불포화 모노머는 전체 카르복실기중 50-90%가 알칼리 금속이나 암모늄염으로 중화된 아크릴산을 주성분으로 하여서 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항 내지 제2항에 있어서, 수성 모노머용액에서의 수용성, 에틸렌성 불포화 모노머의 농도는 20중량%에서 포화농도까지의 범위인 것임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 유기 용매는 지방족 또는 지방족고리 탄화수소용매이고, 분산매는 HLB값이 3~9인 음이 온성 계면활성제인 것임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항에 있어서, 중합은 40~100℃의 온도에서 30분~10시간 동안 실시하는 것임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
