본 도면은 본 발망에 따른 압력 스윙 흡착(pressure swing adsorp-tion)(PSA) 예비정제 시스템의 도식적인 흐름도이다.

Claims (12)

  1. (a) 가압하에서 공기를 제1흡착 베드에 도입함으로써 그로부터 수증기 및 이산화탄소로 이루어진 불순물을 제거하고; (b) 제거 단계의 말기에, 공기의 도입을 중지하고 상기 베드를 환기시키고; (c) 상기 불순물이 없는 피지 가스를 상기 베드에 도입하여 그로부터 흡착된 불순물을 제거하고; (d) 제1베드 및 제2베드중 하나가 단계(a)에 의해9 가스 생성물을 생산하는 동안 다른 배드가 단계(b)및(c)에 의해 재생이 되도록 제2베드와 함께 상 밖에서 작동하는 제1베드(상기 베드들은 총 베드 부피의 약70% 내지 100%를 차지하는 활성알루미나의 제1층을 함유하고 나머지는 적합한 제올라이트의 층을 포함한다.)를 재가압하는 사이클 서열을 포함하는, 공기로부터 상기 불순물을 제거하기 위한 압력 스윙(swing)흡착 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 흡착 베드가 100부피%의 활성 알루미나를 함유하는 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 활성 알루미나 입자가 약10중량%의 실리카를 함유하는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단계(b),(c)및 (d)의 가스 흐름이 단계(a)의 가스 흐름에 역류하는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 적어도 상기 베드내의 제올라이트의 입자크기가 약0.4mm 내지 1.8mm인 방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 적어도 상기 베드내의 제올라이트의 입자크기가 약0.6mm 내지 1.6mm인 방법.
  7. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 베드내의 모든 흡착제의 입자크기가 약 0.4mm 내지 1.8 mm인 방법.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 베드가 100부피%의 활성 알루미나를 함유하는 방법
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 베드내의 모든 흡착제의 입자크기가 약 0.6mm 내지 1.6 mm인 방법.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 가스 생성물을 극저온 공기 분리 단위로 도입하는 방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 피지 가스가 상기 단위로부터의 가스 생성물인 방법.
  12. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 피지 가스가 상기 단위로부터 질소가 풍부한 폐기 스트림인 방법
