제1도는 LC 장치의 상이한 백 그라운드 위치와 상이한 전압공급에서의 투과율 측정을 나타내는 개략도,
제2도는 공급된 전압과 제1도의 측정에서 얻어진 투과율간의 상관관계를 나타내는 그래프,
제3도는 상기 장치의 LC 층내의 다이머(dimer)의 존재를 나타내는 개략횡단면도.

Claims (9)

  1. 배향막과 이 배향막중에 1이상의 전하 전송재료가 도우프되고, 상기 전하 전송재료 및 그 양이 장치 동작중 상기 배향막 또는 그 부근에 일시축적된 전하를 방출시키기에 충분하여 장치내 전기적 2중층의 형성을 억제하는 것이 특징인 액정 디스플레이장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 배향막이 폴리 이미드층인 것이 특징인 액정 디스플레이장치.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 장치에 사용된 액정물질이 슈퍼트위스트 네마틱 액정인 것이 특징인 액정 디스플레이장치.
  4. 제1항-제3항중 임의의 제1항에 있어서, 심플 매트릭스 어드레스 시스템에 따라 구동되는 것이 특징인 액정 디스플레이장치.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 판넬 구성을 갖으며, 스트리프 전극들을 갖는 제1유리기판이 기판 표면상에 형성된 배향막과, 상기 제1유리기판의 스트리프 전극들의 횡방향에 수직한 스트리프 전극들을 갖는 대향 제2유리기판과, 이 기판의 표면상에 형성된 배향막 및, 상기 제1과 제2기판의 대향 배향막을 사이에 개재된 액정물질로 구성된 것이 특징인 액정 디스플레이장치.
  6. 제1항-제3항 중 임의의 제1항에 있어서, 박막 트랜지스터들을 사용하는 액티브 매트릭스 어드레스 시스템에 따라 구동되는 것이 특징인 액정 디스플레이장치.
  7. 제1항-제3항 중 임의의 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전하전송재료가 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)로 표시되는 정공-전송재료인 것이 특징인 액정 디스플레이장치.
    (식에서, R1,R2,R3및 R4는 각각 독립적으로 수소원자, 탄소수 1∼4의 알칼기 또는 알킬부분의 탄소수가 1∼4이고 치환된 것일 수도 있는 아미노기이다.)
  8. 제1항-제6항 중 임의의 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전하전송재료가 하기 일반식(Ⅱ)로 표시되는 정공-전송 재료인 것이 특징인 액정 디스플레이장치.
    (식에서, R은 수소원자, 탄소수 1∼4의 알칼기 또는 알킬부분의 탄소수가 1∼4이고 치환된 것일 수도 있는 아미노기이다.)
  9. 제1항-제6항 중 임의의 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전하전송재료가 하기 일반식(Ⅲ)로 표시되는 전자-전송 재료인 것이 특징인 액정 디스플레이장치.
    1항에 있어서, 상기 배향막이 직류전계하에서 전기절연성을 나타내고, 고주파 전계하에서는 전기전도성을 나타내는 것이 특징인 액정 디스플레이장치.
