Description
Claims (23)
- 예비성형된 중합체 기질을 오존으로 처리하여 기질상에 퍼옥시 및 하이드로퍼옥시 그룹을 형성시키고, 퍼오시화 및 하이드로퍼옥시화된 기질을 에틸렌성 불포화 단량체 또는 단량체 혼합물(여기서, 단량체 및 단량체 혼합물은 하나 이상의 가교결합 단량체를 함유해야 한다)을 사용하여 그라프트 공중합화시킴(여기서, 상기 기질은 오존처리 단계 전 또는 후에 상기 에틸렌성 불포화 단량체 또는 단량체 혼합물이 용해될 수 없는 액체로 포화시키거나 팽윤시킨다)으로써, 예비성형된 중합체 기질을 단량체 또는 단량체 혼합물로부터 유도된 가교결합 중합체의 피복물에 의해 캡슐화시킴을 특징으로 하여, 예비성형된 중합체 기질을 캡슐화 시키는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 공중합화 단계가 단지 저농도의 가변성 금속이온의 존재하 또는 부재하에서 수행되어 에틸렌성 불포화 단량체 또는 단량체 혼합물이 그라프트 되는 동안 단독중합반응이 촉진되는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 금속이온이 제1철 이온인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 오존처리 단계가 물, 공기, 산소 또는 퍼할로겐화 탄화수소 매질중에서 수행되는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 오존처리 단계가 퍼할로겐화 탄화수소 매질중에서 수행되는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 퍼할로겐화 액체매질이 사염화탄소, 1,1,2-트리클로로-1,2,2-트리플루오로에탄, 퍼플루오로헥산 또는 퍼플루오르-(1,3-디메틸사이클로헥산)인 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 퍼할로겐화 액체 매질이 퍼플루오로-(1,3-디메틸사이클로헥산)인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 경질의 중합체 콘택트 렌즈 기질을 오존처리하여 기질상에 퍼옥시 및 하이드로퍼옥시 그룹을 형성시키고, 오존처리된 렌즈를 , 렌즈의 가장자리가 친수성 비닐 단량체와 비닐 가교결합제의 혼합물을 함유하는 그라프트 수용액에 노출되고 렌즈의 중앙은 보호되는 금형에 위치시킨다음, 금형을 UV선으로 조사하여 오존처리된 렌즈의 가장자리 부분에 존재하는 퍼옥시 및 하이드로퍼옥시 그룹을 분해시킴으로써 그라프트 수용액중 비닐 단량체의 그라프트 가교결합 공중합반응을 개지시켜, 경질 콘택트 렌즈의 가장자리 주위에 그라프트 공중합 및 가교결합된 연질 비닐 중합체 스커트(skirt)를 형성시킴으로써, 렌즈의 착용감 및 눈의 편안함이 증진되도록 경질 중합체 콘택트 렌즈의 가장자리 주위에 연질 중합체 스커트를 형성시키는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 친수성 비닐 단량체가 2-하이드록시에틸 메타크릴레이트이고, 비닐가교결합제가 에틸렌 글리콜 디메타크릴레이트인 방법.
- 제1항에 따른 방법에 의해 제조된 캡슐화된 생성물.
- 제8항에 따른 방법에 의해 제조된 연질 비닐 중합체 스커트가 부착된 경질 중합체 콘택트 렌즈.
- 예비성형된 중합체 기질을, 후속의 하이드로 퍼옥시화 및 퍼오시화 반응이 중합체의 표면으로 제한되도록, 쇄 전이제이거나 쇄 전이제를 함유하는 용액(이 용액은 오존처리 단계중에서 후속으로 사용되는 퍼할로겐화 액체 매질중에서 불용성이다)과 접촉시켜 중합체를 포화 또는 팽윤시키고, 포화 또는 팽윤된 중합체를 퍼할로겐화 액체 매질(이 액체매질은 쇄전이제를 함유하는 용액중에서 불용성이다)중에 용해된 오존으로 처리한 다음, 퍼옥시화 및 하이드로퍼옥시화된 기질을 에틸렌성 불포화 단량체 또는 단량체 혼합물(여기서, 단량체 또는 단량체 혼합물은 하나 이상의 가교결합 단량체를 함유해야 한다)을 사용하여 그라프트 공중합화시킴으로써, 예비성형된 중합체 기질을 단량체 또는 단량체 혼합물로부터 유도된 가교결합 중합체의 피복물에 의해 캡슐화시킴을 특징으로 하여, 예비성형된 중합체 기질을 캡슐화 시키는 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 공중합화 단계가 단거 저농도의 가변성 금속이온의 존재하 또는 부재하에서 수행되어 에틸렌성 불포화 단량체 또는 단량체 혼합물이 그라프트되는 동안 단독중합반응이 촉진되는 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 금속 이온이 제1철 이온인 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 쇄 전이제가 탄소수 1내지 4의 1급 또는 2급 알칸올인 방법.
- 제15항에 있어서, 쇄 전이제를 물, 또는 3급 -부틸 알콜을 함유하는 수용액중에 용해시키는 방법.
- 제15항에 있어서, 쇄 전이제가 이소프로판올인 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서,퍼할로겐화 액체 매질이 사염화탄소, 1,1,2-트리클로로-1,2,2-트리플루오로에탄, 퍼플루오로헥산 또는 퍼풀루오로-(1,3-디메틸사이클로헥산)인 방법.
- 제18항에 있어서, 퍼할로겐화 액체 매질이 퍼플루오르-(1,3-디메틸사이클로헥산)인 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 경질의 중합체 콘텍트 렌즈기질을 오존처리하여 기질상에 퍼옥시 및 하이드로퍼옥시 그룹을 형성시키고 오존처리된 렌즈를 렌즈의 가장자리가 친수성 비닐 단량체와 비닐 가교결합제의 혼합물을 함유하는 그라프트 수용액에 노출되고 렌즈의 중앙은 보호되는 금형에 위치시킨 다음, 금형을 UV선으로 조사하여 오존처리된 렌즈의 가장자리부분에 존재하는 퍼옥시 및 하이드로퍼옥시 그룹을 분해시킴으로써 그라프트 수용액중 비닐 단량체의 그라프트 가교결합 공중합 반응을 개시시켜, 경질 콘택트 렌즈의 가장자리 주위에 그라프트 공중합 및 가교결합된 연질 비닐 중합체 스커트를 형성시킴으로써, 렌즈의 착용감 및 눈의 편안함이 증진되도록 경질중합체 콘택트 렌즈의 가장자리 주위에 연질 중합체 스커트를 형성시키는 방법.
- 제20항에 있어서, 친수성 비닐 단량체가 2-하이드록시에틸 메타크릴레이트이고, 비닐 가교결합제가 에틸렌 글리콜 디메타크릴레이트인 방법.
- 제12항에 따른 방법에 의해 제조된 캡슐화된 생성물.
