Claims (8)
- 전극이 갖춰진 2개의 지지판간의 전기-광학 디스플레이 매개물과, 로 및 칼럼으로 배열된 상기 디스플레이 매개물의 측면상에 선택을 제공하는 로 및 칼럼 전극의 시스템이 또한 갖추어진 제1지지판상에 배열된 화상 전극 영역에서의 화소 시스템 및, 화상 디스플레이를 위해 화소 양단에 제공될 수 있는 상기 전기-광학 디스플레이 매개물에 따른 전압의 범위에 의한 데이타 신호를 포함하며, 상기 로 전극이 화상 전극에 용량성으로 결합되어진 디스플레이 장치에 있어서, 화상 전극이 선택에 앞서 화소 양단에 인가될 수 있는 보조 전압에 의해 데이타 신호를 칼럼 전극과 기준 전압용 전극간에 직렬로 배열되는 2개의 비-선형 양극성 스위칭 유니트의 공통 부분에 전기적 도전 방법으로 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 보조 전압이 전기-광학 매개체의 전송/전압 특성의 전이의 범위내에 있거나 또는 상기 범위를 벗어나는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1 또는 제2항에 있어서, 비선형 양극성 스위칭 유니트가 다이오드인 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1 내지 제3항에 있어서, 화상 전극의 로에서 각각의 시간에 2개의 병렬된 화상 전극이 비-선형 양극성 스위칭 유니트를 통해 기준전압용 공통 전극에 연결되며, 상기 전극이 화상 전극간에 놓여지는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 장치.
- 선행항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 실제로 인터럽트된 절연물질층이 로 전극과 화상 전극간에 제공되는 것을 특징으로하는 디스플레이 장치.
- 선행항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제2지지판이 상기 지지판과 칼라 필터를 덮는 공통 카운터 전극간에 배열된 칼라 필터를 갖추는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 장치.
- 선행항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 전기-광학 매개체가 액정 결정체 물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 장치.
- 선행항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 전기-광학 매개체가 강유전체 액정 결정체 물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
