Claims (8)
- 매트릭스 형상으로 설치된 다수의 액정(2)으로 형성되는 다수의 액정 표시패널(10)을 구비하고, 표시 데이타에 의거하는 상기 다수의 액정 표시패널(10)에 의한 화상을 스크린위에 겹치도록 투사하여 표시하는 액정 투사장치에 있어서, 상기 다수의 액정 표시패널(10) 각각의 상기 다수의 액정(2)을 비월주사 하는 주사수단(8)과, 상기 주사수단(8)에 의해 주사된 각 액정에 표시데이타에 의거하는 구동전압을 인가하는 구동수단(18,31,32,22)을 구비하며, 상기 구동수단(18,31,32,33)은, 액정부(2)에 인가되어야할 구동전압이 수평주사 기간마다 반전하고 또한 홀수필드 및 짝수필드로 형성되는 각 프레임마다 반전하도록, 또한 상기 다수의 액정 표시패널(10)중 최소한 1개의 액정 표시패널에는 나머지의 액정 표시패널과는 역극성의 구동전압이 인가되어지도록 제어를 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 투사장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 구동수단은 상기 다수의 액정 표시패널(10)에 대응하여 설치되고, 대응하는 액정 표시패널(10)내의 액정(2)의 열에 차례로 구동전압을 인가하는 다수의 패널구동수단(31,32,33)과 제어수단(18)을 구비하여, 상기 제어수단(18)은 상기 다수의 패널구동수단(31,32,33)의 각각에 의해 얻어지는 상기 구동전압의 극성이 수평주사 기간마다 반전하여 또한 프레임마다 반전하도록, 또한 상기 다수의 패널구동수단(31,32,33)중 최소한 1개의 패널구동수단에 의해 얻어지는 구동전압의 극성이 나머지의 패널구동수단에 의해 얻어지는 구동전압의 극성과는 역으로 되도록, 상기 다수의 패널구동수단(31,32,33)을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 투사장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 또한 수평 동기신호 및 수직 동기신호를 발생하는 동기신호 발생수단(19)을 구비하고, 상기 제어수단(18)은, 상기 수평 동기신호 및 상기 수직 동기신호에 응답하여, 구동전압의 극성의 반전을 지시하는 다수의 반전지시 신호를 각각 상기 다수의 패널 구동수단(31,32,33)에 인가하고, 상기 다수의 반전지시 신호의 각각은, 수평주사 기간마다 반전하여 또한 프레임마다 반전하여, 상기 다수의 반전지시 신호중 최소한 1개의 반전지시 신호의 극성은 나머지의 반전지시 신호의 극성과는 다르며, 상기 다수의 패널 구동수단(31,32,33) 각각은 대응하는 반전지시 신호에 응답하여 구동전압의 극성을 반전시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 투사장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 다수의 패널구동수단(31,32,33)은 표시데이타에 의거하는 표시신호를 받아, 상기 반전지시 장치에 응답하여 그 표시신호의 반전신호 또는 비반전신호를 출력하는 신호반전수단(21)과, 상기 신호반전수단(21)의 출력을 구동전압으로서 대응하는 액정 표시패널(10)내의 액정(2)의 열에 차례로 인가하는 라인 구동수단(23)을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 투사장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 다수의 액정 표시패널(10)내의 상기 다수의 액정(2)의 각각은, 한편의 전극 및 다른편의 전극을 갖으며, 상기 다수의 액정 표시패널(10)의 각각은, 상기 반전지시 신호에 응답하여 상기 구동전압과는 역극성의 바이어스 전압을 발생하는 바이어스 전압발생 수단(22)을 또한 구비하고, 상기 구동 전압은 상기 액정(2)의 상기 한편의 전극에 인가되며, 상기 바이어스 전압은 상기 액정(2)의 다른편의 전극에 인가되어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 투사장치.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 라인구동수단(23)은, 상기 신호반전수단(21)의 출력을 구동전압으로 하여 샘플앤드 홀드하는 샘플 앤드 홀드수단(25)과, 상기 샘플 앤드 홀드수단 수단(25)에 의해 홀드되는 구동전압을 차례로 선택하는 선택수단(24)과, 상기 선택수단(24)에 의해 선택되는 구동전압을 대응하는 액정 표시패널(10)내의 대응하는 액정(2)열에 인가하는 버퍼수단(26)을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 투사장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 수평 동기신호 및 수직 동기신호를 발생하는 동기신호 발생수단(19)을 또한 구비하고, 상기 액정 표시패널은, 제1, 제2 및 제3의 액정 표시패널(10)을 포함하고, 상기 다수의 패널구동수단은, 제1, 제2 및 제3의 액정 표시패널(31,32,33)을 포함하고, 상기 제어수단(18)은 상기 수평 동기신호 및 상기 수직 동기신호에 응답하여, 상기 수평 동기신호를 1/2 분주하므로서 얻어지는 1/2 분주신호, 상기 수직 동기신호를 1/4 분주하므로서 얻어지는 제1의 1/4 분주신호, 상기 제1의 1/4 분주신호의 반전신호인 제2의 1/4 분주신호 및 상기 제2의 1/4 분주신호보다도 1필드 기간 지연한 제3의 1/4 분주신호를 출력하는 분주신호 발생수단(11,12,13,14)과 상기 1/2 분주신호 및 상기 제2의 1/4 분주신호에 대해서 배타적 논리화 연산을 하여 그 결과를 제1 반전지시 신호로서 상기 제1패널구동수단(31)에 인가하는 제1논리수단(15)과, 상기 1/2 분주신호 및 상기 제2의 1/4 분주신호에 대해서 배타적 논리화 연산을 하고, 그 결과를 제2의 반전지시 신호로서 상기한 제2의 패널구동수단(32)에 인가하는 제2논리수단(16)과, 상기 1/2 분주신호 및 상기 제3의 1/4 분주신호에 대해서 배타적 논리화 연산을 하고, 그 결과를 제3의 반전지시 신호로서 상기 제3의 패널구동수단(33)에 인가하는 제3논리수단(17)을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 투사장치.
- 매트릭스 형상으로 설치된 다수의 액정(2)으로 형성되는 다수의 액정 표시패널(10)을 구비하고, 표시 데이타에 의거한 상기 다수의 액정 표시패널(10)에 의한 화상을 스크린위에 겹치도록 투사하여 표시하는 액정 투사장치의 구동방법에 있어서, 상기 다수의 액정 표시패널(10)내의 상기 다수의 액정(2)을 비월주사하는 단계와, 주사된 각 액정(2)에 표시데이타에 의거하는 구동전압을 인가하는 단계와, 상기 액정(2)의 각각에 인가되어야 할 구동전압이 수평주사 기간마다 반전하여 또한 홀수필드 및 짝수필드로 형성되는 각 프레임마다 반전하도록, 또한, 상기 복수의 액정표시패널(10)중 최소한 1개의 액정 표시패널에는 나머지의 액정 표시패널과는 역극성의 구동전압이 인가되도록 제어하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 투사장치의 구동방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
