제3도는 제1도에 보인 여과기 실시양태의 저면도이다.
Claims (18)
- 다공성 플라스틱 매트릭스 내에 포함된, 크기가 본질적으로 약 5마이크론-약150마이크론 이하인, 활성탄 입자를 포함하는 액체의 정제에 이용하는데 적합한 여과기 구조.
- 제1항에 있어서, 활성탄 입자들이 포함된 다공성 플라스틱 매트릭스를 형성하는데 이용되는 중합체의 평균 입자 크기가 본질적으로 활성탄 입자의 평균 입자 크기보다 큰 자립(self-supporting)여과기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 활성탄 입자들이 다공성 플라스틱 매트릭스 전반에 걸쳐 균일하게 분포된 여과기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 평균 활성탄 입자 크기가 약 10마이크론-약 30마이크론인 여과기.
- 제2항에 있어서, 다공성 플라스틱 매트릭스가 본질적으로 약 10-약 500마이크론내의 입자 크기 분포를 갖는 열가소성 중합체로부터 형성되는 여과기.
- 여과될 액체에 대한 최대의 표면적을 제공하기 위해 형상화된 그러한 몸체 형태로 다공성 여과기 물질을 포함하는, 액체용 여과기 구성요소.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 다공성 여과기 물질이 자립이고 활성탄 입자를 포함하는 여과기 구성요소.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 다공성 여과기 물질이 상기 활성탄 입자들로 함침된 다공성 플라스틱 매트릭스 구소를 포함하는 여과기 구성요소.
- 제6항에 있어서, 각각 전체 여과 요소상에 균일한 유동 통로를 제공하도록 배향되고 그러한 형상을 갖는 슬롯들중, 최소한 하나의 슬롯을 상단(top)에 갖고 하나는 기저(base)에 갖는, 블록 형태의 여과기 구성요소.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 블록이 길쭉하고, 그의 측면이 윗방향으로 갈수록 안으로 가늘어지는 여과기.
- 제10항에 있어서,상기 슬롯이 세로로 배향되고 보통 V자형(wedge shaped)인 여과기.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 여과기가 블록의, 상단으로부터 개방된 하나의 중심 슬롯과 면들의 외부표면으로부터 안쪽으로 그리고 상기 상부 슬롯으로부터 바깥쪽으로 각각 간격을 둔 두 기저 슬롯을 갖고 그럼으로써 일반적으로 블록내에서 M-형 세로 횡단면을 이루는 여과기.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상단 표면내의 보통 중심에 위치된 가로방향 함몰부를 갖는 여과기 구성요소.
- 제6항에 있어서, 그의 형상이 여과될 액체를 위해, 전체 상기 표면적 상에서, 균일한 여과기 통로를 제공하는 여과기 구성요소.
- 액체와 제1항의 여과기를 접촉시키는 것을 포함하는, 액체정제방법.
- 제15항에 있어서, 액체가 물인 방법.
- 액체와 제6항의 여과기 구성요소를 접촉시키는 것을 포함하는, 액체로부터 오염물을 제거하는 방법.
