Claims (5)

  1. 하기 (a)-(d)를 포함하는 강한 베타 알루미나 몸체의 제조방법. (a)(i) 알루미나 졸(sol) 또는 겔(gel), 및 (ii) 나트륨, 칼륨, 리튬, 마그네슘 또는 칼슘 산화물 전구체 또는 산화물, (iii) 상기 몸체의 최종 고체 내용물의 적어도 0.1 중량%가 존재하는, 알파 알루미나 또는 베타 알루미나의 미크론 씨드(seed)입자를 특징으로하는 것을 특징으로하는, 베타 알루미나의 생성과 일치하는 상기 조성물을 소결도중에 제공하고; (b) 상기 겔(gel)을 성형시키고; (c)(d) 단계의 성형 겔(gel)을 건조시키고; (d) 상기 베타 알루미나를 생성하기위해 1200℃-1500℃의 온도에서 (c)단계의 건조 성형 겔(gel)을 연소시키는 상기 씨드(seed)입자는 베타 알루미나 몸체의 평방 센티미터당 적어도 106개입자와 동등한 양의 상기 겔(gel) 또는 졸(sol)내에 존재함.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 씨드(seed)물질이 알파 알루미나인 사실을 특징으로하는 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 알파 알루미나 씨드(seed)의 표면적이 40㎡/g인 사실을 특징으로하는 방법.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 씨드(seed)물질이고 고 알루미나-함유 분쇄 매개물의 습윤 분쇄에 의해 생성되는 사실을 특징으로하는 방법.
  5. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 알루미나 졸(sol) 또는 겔(gel)이 근본적으로 미정성 베마이트 겔(gel)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로하는 방법.
