Claims (5)
- 하기 (a) 내지 (d)로 구성되는 강한 베타 알루미나 몸체의 제조방법으로서, (a)(i) 알루미나 졸(sol) 또는 겔(gel), 및 (ii) 나트륨, 칼륨, 리튬, 마그네슘 또는 칼슘 산화물 또는 산화물의 전구체를 포함하며, (iii) 상기 몸체의 최종 고체 함량의 0.1 중량% 이상으로 존재하는, 알파 알루미나 또는 베타 알루미나의 1 미크론 이하의 씨드(seed) 입자로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 소결하여 베타 알루미나를 형성할 수 있는 조성물을 제공하고,(b)상기 겔 또는 졸을 성형하고;(c)(b) 단계의 성형 겔 또는 졸을 건조시키고;(d) 1200℃ 내지 1500℃의 온도에서 (c) 단계의 건조 성형 겔을 구움(firing)으로써 베타 알루미나 몸체를 생성하는 것으로 이루어지며, 상기 씨드 입자는 상기 베타 알루미나 몸체의 평방 센티미터 당 입자 수 106개 이상의 양으로 상기 겔 또는 졸 내에 존재하는 강한 베타 알루미나 몸체의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 씨드 물질이 알파 알루미나인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 알파 알루미나 씨드의 표면적이 40m2/g 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 씨드 물질이고 알루미나-함유 분쇄 매개물의 습윤 분쇄에 의하여 생생되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 알루미나 졸 또는 겔이 필수적으로 미세 결정성 베마이트 겔을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
