Claims (18)

  1. (a)(i) 부가되는 전자 주개없이 마그네슘 할라이드 지지체 베이스와 트리할라이드를 약 8 : 0.5 내지 약 8 : 3의 몰비로 함께 분쇄하고 (ii) 부가되는 전자 주개없이 단계(i)의 생성물을 마그네슘 할라이드대 티탄 테트라할라이드의 몰비가 약 8 : 0.4-약 8 : 1이 되도록 충분한 티탄 테트라할라이드와 함께 분쇄하는 것을 포함하는 방법에 의해 생산된 고형 촉매 성분 ; 및 (b) 각각의 알킬기내의 탄소수가 1-9인 트리알킬알루미늄 약 15-약 100몰%와 분자당 적어도 하나의 할라이드기를 가지며 알킬기내의 탄소수가 1-9인 알킬 알루미늄 할라이드 약 85 : 약 0몰%의 혼합물로 구성된 Al : Ti 비가 약 50 : 1 내지 약 600 : 1이 되기에 충분한 양의, 조촉매 성분의 조성물을 촉매로 사용하고 공정에 공급되는 단량체를 기준으로 수소 약 0.7-약 3.0몰% 존재 하에서, 프로필렌을 액상으로 유지하기에 충분한 반응기 압력 및 약 54.4℃(130℉)-79.5℃(175℉)의 온도에서 프로필렌 약 70-약 96.5중량%와 에틸렌 약 3.5-약 30중량%를 반응시키고, 13C NMR 스펙트럼으로 측정하여 입체 규칙성 지수 m/r이 약 2.5-약 4인 본질적으로 무정형인, 임의의 에틸렌-프로필렌 공중합체를 회수하는 것으로 구성된, 근본적으로 에틸렌과 프로필렌으로 구성된 본질적으로 무정형인 공중합체의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 각각의 할라이드가 클로라이드이고 각각의 알킬이 에틸기인 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 압력이 약 400프 사이 내지 약 550프 사이이고 온도가 약 65.6℃(150℉) 내지 71.1℃(160℉)인 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 마그네슘 할라이드대 알루미늄 트리할라이드 비가 약 8 : 1 내지 약 8 : 1.5 범위인 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 마그네슘 할라이드대 티탄테트라할라이드가 약 8 : 0.4 내지 약 8 : 0.6 범위인 방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 조촉매 혼합물의 트리에틸알루미늄 함량이 약 40-약 60몰% 범위인 방법.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 조촉매 성분이 약 100% 트리알킬알루미늄으로 구성되고 회수된 공중합체의 에틸렌 함량이 15중량% 이하인 방법.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, Al/Ti 비가 약 90 : 1 내지 약 300 : 1로 유지되는 방법.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 수소가 공정에 공급된 총 단량체를 기준으로 약 1.2-약 2.5몰%로 유지되는 방법.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 약 1시간 내지 약 3시간의 평균 잔류 시간으로 연속적으로 조건하에서 수행되는 방법.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, 반응기 슬러리의 고체 함량이 약 30중량% 내지 약 60중량%로 유지되는 방법.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 촉매 조성물이 적어도 7000lbs 중합체/lb Ti 촉매/시간의 활성을 갖는 방법.
  13. 제1항에 있어서, 회수된 공중합체가 약 100 내지 약 25,000cpsⓐ190.55℃(375℉)의 용융 점도를 갖는 방법.
  14. 제1항에 있어서, 회수된 공중합체가 약 112.8℃(235℉) 내지 약 148.9℃(300℉)의 고리 및 볼 연화점을 갖는 방법.
  15. 제1항에 있어서, 회수된 공중합체가 약 10 내지 약 756mm의 바늘 침투 값을 갖는 방법.
  16. 제1항에 있어서, 회수된 공중합체가 약 10 내지 약 60초의 개방 시간을 갖는 방법.
  17. 제12항에 있어서, 회수된 공중합체가 약 500ppm 미만의 총 회분 함량을 갖는 방법.
  18. 제12항에 있어서, 회수된 공중합체가 약 2ppm 이하의 티탄 함량을 갖는 방법.
