Claims (10)
- 구형 중합 비이드의 제조방법에 있어서, 중합 가능한 단량체를 포함하는 단량체상 물질을 구멍을 통해 중합가능한 단량체 또는 단량체상 물질과 혼합되지 않는 액체와 안정된 양의 현탁제를 포함하는 연속상 물질내로 유입시킴으로써 층 흐름 특성을 갖는 단량체 젯트를 형성시키고, 그 단량체 젯트를 진동적으로 여진시켜 소적으로 분열시키며, 후속적으로 단량체를 상당한 합착 또는 부가적인 분산을 초래시키지 않는 상태를 유지하면서 현탁 상태에서 중합시키는 공정들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 균일한 크기의 중합체 비이드를 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 단량체 소적은 그의 입자 크기의 변위 상수가 0.1미만이 될 정도의 입자 크기 분포를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 균일한 크기의 중합체 비이드를 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 단량체 젯트의 흐름 특성이 20 내지 2000의 레이놀드수로 정해지며 단량체 젯트의 진동 여진이 0.5 내지 5의 스트로우할 수로 정해지는 것을 특징으로 하는 균일한 크기의 중합체 비이드를 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 단량체 젯트의 흐름 특성이 120 내지 1200의 레이놀드수로 정해지며, 단량체 젯트의 진동 여진이 0.15 내지 1.5의 스트로우할 수로 정해져, 그러한 흐름 특성 및 진동 여진에 의해 단량체 소적이 0.05미만의 변위상수를 갖는 입자 크기 분포를 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 균일한 크기의 중합체 비이드를 제조하는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 실온에서의 연속상 물질의 점성이 50cps미만으로서 단량체상 물질의 점성의 0.1 내지 10배인 것을 특징으로 하는 균일한 크기의 중합체 비이드를 제조하는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 단량체 소적이 연속상 물질보다 밀도가 낮아, 연속상 물질을 통해 중합 반응기쪽으로 상승하게 되며, 상기 연속상 물질은 병류식으로 단량체 소적의 흐름 방향으로 흐르는 것을 특징으로 하는 균일한 크기의 중합체 비이드를 제조하는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 중합가능한 단량체가 현탁식 중합가능한 수용성 단량체인 것을 특징으로 하는 균일한 크기의 중합체 비이드를 제조하는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 중합 가능한 단량체가 구형 중합체 비이드내에 흡수되고 후속적으로 흡수된 단량체가 중합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 균일한 크기의 중합체 비이드를 제조하는 방법.
- 구형 비이드 제조장치에 있어서, 중합 가능한 단량체를 포함하는 단량체상 물질이 내재되는 단량체 저장소와, 중합 가능한 단량체 또는 단량체상 물질과 혼합되지 않는 현탁 액체와 안정된 양의 현탁제를 포함하는 연속상 물질이 내재되는 용기와, 중합가능한 단량체를 포함하는 단량체상 물질과 밀접되어 있으며 상기 단량체 저장소와 연속상 물질이 내재된 용기간을 연통시키는 통로를 가지고 있어 상기 통로를 통해 단량체상 물질을 연속상 물질내로 통과시킬때 층 흐름 특성을 갖는 젯트로 형성시키는 젯트 형성수단과, 단량체 젯트를 소적으로 분열시키도록 여진시키는 진동여진기와, 소적의 상당한 합착 또는 부가적인 분산을 발생시키지 않는 상태를 유지하면서 현탁 상태에서 단량체를 중합시키는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 균일한 크기의 중합체 비이드를 제조하는 장치.
- 제9항에 있어서, 연속상 물질이 내재된 용기를 통해 단량체 소적과 연속상 물질을 병류식으로 흐르게 하도록 현탁액체를 젯트 형성수단에 근접한 곳에서 용기내로 유입시키는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 균일한 크기의 중합체 비이드를 제조하는 장치.
