Claims (2)

  1. 복수의 행전극 및 열전극과, 양전극 간에 배치된 액정표시층과, 이 액정표시체와 행전극 혹은 열전극 간에는 전류-전압 특성이 비선형인 소자가 배치되는 액정 표시부,
    선택시에는 열전극-형전극 간의 실효 전압이 크며, 비선택시에는 열전극-행전극 간의 실효 전압이 작은 행전극 전압을 발생하는 코몬선측 구동회로,
    계조 표시용으로서 펄스폭 변조 신호를 열전극으로 발생되는 데이타선측 구동회로로 되는 화상표시장치에 있어서,
    상기 데이타선측 구동회로에서 발생하는 펄스폭 변조 신호는, 선택 기간에 있어서, 그 펄스는 이 기간의 후연까지 연속적인 것을 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 선택 기간의 후연에서는, 선택기간 중에 상기한 액정 표시층에 충전된 전하를 방전해야 할 선택 기간중에 부가된 열전극-행전극 간의 전압과는 역극성의 전하 방전 신호가, 열전극-행전극 간에 부가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
