Claims (11)
- 두께 5∼60㎛, 폭 2m 이상, 길이 2km 이상인 폴리비닐 알코올계 필름이며, 하기 식 (1) 및 (2)를 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리비닐 알코올계 필름.
(1) 면내 위상차 Rxy≤30nm
(2) 두께 방향 위상차 Rth≥90nm
여기서 면내 위상차 Rxy(nm)와 두께 방향 위상차 Rth(nm)는 상기 폴리비닐 알코올계 필름에서, 폭 방향(즉, TD방향)의 굴절률을 nx, 길이 방향(즉, MD방향)의 굴절률을 ny, 두께 방향의 굴절률을 nz, 두께를 d(nm)로 한 경우에, 각각 하기 식 (A), (B)로 산출되는 값.
(A) Rxy(nm)=|nx-ny|×d(nm)
(B) Rth(nm)={(nx+ny)/2-nz}×d(nm) - 청구항 1에 있어서,
폭 방향(즉, TD방향)에 있어서의 상기 면내 위상차 Rxy의 편차 ΔRxy가 5nm 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리비닐 알코올계 필름. - 청구항 1 또는 2에 있어서,
폭 방향(즉, TD방향)에 있어서의 상기 두께 방향 위상차 Rth의 편차 ΔRth가 30nm 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리비닐 알코올계 필름. - 청구항 1 내지 3 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
30℃의 수중에 15분간 침지하여 필름의 팽윤도를 측정했을 때, 폭 방향(즉, TD방향)의 팽윤도 X(%), 길이 방향(즉, MD방향)의 팽윤도 Y(%), 두께 방향의 팽윤도 Z(%)가 Z≥1.1X 및 Z≥1.1Y를 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리비닐 알코올계 필름. - 청구항 4에 있어서,
폭 방향(즉, TD방향)의 상기 팽윤도 X(%)의 편차 ΔX(%), 길이 방향(즉, MD방향)의 상기 팽윤도 Y(%)의 편차 ΔY(%), 및 두께 방향의 상기 팽윤도 Z(%)의 편차 ΔZ(%)가 모두 5% 이내인 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리비닐 알코올계 필름. - 청구항 1 내지 5 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 폴리비닐 알코올계 필름의 두께가 5∼30㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리비닐 알코올계 필름. - 청구항 1 내지 6 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 상기 폴리비닐 알코올계 필름이 사용되고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광막.
- 청구항 7에 기재된 상기 편광막 및 상기 편광막의 적어도 한 면에 설치된 보호 필름을 구비하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 폴리비닐 알코올계 수지의 수용액을 연속 캐스트법에 의해 제막하는 공정, 캐스트형으로부터의 박리 후, 흐름 방향(즉, MD방향)으로 반송하면서, 연속적으로 건조하는 공정 및 폭 방향(즉, TD방향)으로 연신하는 공정을 구비한 폴리비닐 알코올계 필름의 제조 방법이며,
제조되는 폴리비닐 알코올계 필름이 하기 식 (1) 및 (2)를 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리비닐 알코올계 필름의 제조 방법.
