Claims (9)
- 유체 스트림을 처리하기 위한 플랜트(plant)로서,
용매 재생 스테이지(solvent regeneration stage)를 포함하고,
상기 유체 스트림으로부터 흡수된 하나 이상의 오염물질을 포함하는 풍부 용매(rich solvent)는 상기 오염물질을 제거함으로써 희박 용매(lean solvent)로 재생되며,
상기 용매 재생 스테이지는,
(i) 상부 및 하부를 구비하고 적어도 하나의 증기-액체 접촉 섹션을 포함하는 스트리퍼 컬럼(stripper column)으로서, 오염물질을 포함하는 풍부 용매는 상기 적어도 하나의 증기-액체 접촉 섹션 위치에서 또는 그 위의 위치에서 상기 스트리퍼 컬럼으로 공급되는, 상기 스트리퍼 컬럼;
(ii) 상기 스트리퍼 컬럼의 하부에 작동 가능하게 결합된 리보일러(reboiler)로서, 상기 스트리퍼 컬럼으로 역으로 공급되는 응축 가능한 스트리핑 가스(condensable stripping gas)가 생성되도록 상기 희박 용매를 수용하고 가열시키는, 상기 리보일러;
(iii) 응축기로서, 상기 스트리퍼 컬럼의 상부에 작동 가능하게 결합된, 응축 가능한 스트리핑 가스를 응축된 스트리핑 가스(condensed stripping gas)로 응축시키기 위한, 상기 응축기; 및
(iv) 상기 응축기 및 상기 스트리퍼 컬럼에 작동 가능하게 결합된, 응축된 스트리핑 가스를 수집하기 위한 환류 리시버(reflux receiver)로서, 상기 수집된 응축된 스트리퍼 가스(condensed stripper gas)의 부분이,
(a) 상기 풍부 공급 위치와 상기 응축된 스트리퍼 가스 반송 위치 사이의 상기 증기-액체 접촉 섹션의 적어도 일부를 갖는, 상기 풍부 용매의 공급 위치 아래의 위치, 그리고
(b) 상기 리보일러로부터 상기 응축 가능한 스트리핑 가스 반송 위치의 위의 위치
에서 상기 스트리퍼 컬럼으로 반송되는, 상기 환류 리시버를 포함하는, 유체 스트림을 처리하기 위한 플랜트. - 유체 스트림을 처리하는 방법으로서,
상기 유체 스트림으로부터 흡수된 하나 이상의 오염물질을 포함하는 풍부 용매는 상기 오염물질을 제거함으로써 희박 용매로 재생되고,
(i) 상부 및 하부를 구비하고 적어도 하나의 증기-액체 접촉 섹션을 포함하는 스트리퍼 컬럼에 오염물질을 포함하는 풍부 용매의 투입 스트림을 제공하는 단계로서, 풍부 용매가 상기 적어도 하나의 증기-액체 접촉 섹션의 위치에서 또는 그 위의 위치에서 상기 스트리퍼 컬럼으로 공급되는, 단계;
(ii) 상기 스트리퍼 컬럼에서 상기 풍부 용매를 응축 가능한 스트리핑 가스와 접촉시킴으로써 상기 풍부 용매로부터 오염물질을 제거하여 상기 오염물질을 배출시키고, 희박 용매 및 응축 가능한 스트리핑 가스와 오염물질의 오버헤드 혼합물(overhead admixture)을 형성시키는, 단계;
(iii) 상기 희박 용매를 이를 가열시키는 리보일러에 공급하여 추가의 응축 가능한 스트리핑 가스를 생성하는, 단계;
(iv) 반송 위치에서 상기 추가의 응축 가능한 스트리핑 가스를 상기 스트리퍼 컬럼에 도입함으로써, 오염물질을 포함하는 풍부 용매와 접촉시키고 상기 스트리퍼 컬럼의 상부에서 응축 가능한 스트리핑 가스와 오염물질의 오버헤드 혼합물로서 배출시키는, 단계;
(v) 응축 가능한 스트리핑 가스를 응축된 스트리핑 가스로 응축시키는 응축기를 통하여 상기 오버헤드 혼합물을 통과시킴으로써 상기 오버헤드 혼합물로부터의 응축된 스트리퍼 가스를 회수하는, 단계;
(vi) 상기 스트리퍼 컬럼으로 후속 반송시키기 위한, 환류 리시버에서 상기 회수된 응축된 스트리퍼 가스를 수집하는, 단계;
(vii) 반송 위치에서 상기 스트리퍼 컬럼에 상기 회수된 응축된 스트리퍼 가스의 적어도 일부를 도입하는 단계로서, 상기 반송 위치는
(a) 상기 풍부 공급 위치와 상기 응축된 스트리퍼 가스 반송 위치 사이의 상기 증기-액체 접촉 섹션의 적어도 일부를 갖는, 상기 풍부 용매의 공급 위치 아래의 위치, 및
(b) 상기 리보일러로부터 상기 응축 가능한 스트리핑 가스 반송 위치 위의 위치.
인, 단계; 및
(iv) 상기 희박 용매를 상기 리보일러로부터 재생된 희박 용매로서 통과시키는 단계를 포함하는, 유체 스트림을 처리하는 방법. - 제2항에 있어서, 상기 유체 스트림이 가스화기(gassifier), 또는 수소, 이산화탄소 및 일산화탄소를 포함하는 합성 가스 스트림에 의해 생성되는, 유체 스트림을 처리하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 유체 스트림이 천연가스로부터 유래되고, 가스, 액체, 또는 이들의 혼합물인, 유체 스트림을 처리하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 오염물질이 하나 이상의 에탄, 프로판, 부탄, 펜탄, 보다 중질의 탄화수소, 수소, 물, 일산화탄소, 질소, 이산화탄소, 황화수소, 이산화황, 이황화탄소, 암모니아, 시안화수소, 황화카보닐, 또는 머캅탄을 포함하는, 유체 스트림을 처리하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 용매가 화학적 또는 물리적 용매인, 유체 스트림을 처리하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 용매가 폴리에틸렌 글리콜의 디메틸 에테르; 프로필렌 카보네이트; N-메틸-2-피롤리돈; 메탄올; N-아세틸모르폴린; N-포르밀모르폴린; 1,3-디메틸-3,4,5,6-테트라하이드로-2(1H)-피리미디논; 메톡시트리글리콜; 또는 이들의 배합물인, 유체 스트림을 처리하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 응축 가능한 스트리핑 가스가 스팀(steam)이며, 상기 응축된 스트리핑 가스는 물인, 유체 스트림을 처리하기 위한 플랜트.
