도 2는 본 발명의 하나의 실시예에 따른 전지모듈의 사시도이다;
도 3은 도 2의 전지모듈의 분해 모식도이다;
도 4는 도 3의 전지모듈에서 전지셀 적층체의 사시도이다;
도 5는 접속단자가 전극단자 연결부에 접속되는 과정에 관한 모식도들이다.
Claims (17)
- 직렬 및/또는 병렬로 연결된 다수의 전지셀들 또는 단위모듈들이 측면방향으로 세워진 상태로 적층되어 있는 전지셀 적층체;
상기 전지셀 적층체의 전면 및 후면에 각각 위치한 전지셀들의 전극단자 연결부에 전기적으로 연결되어 전지셀 또는 단위모듈의 전압을 검출하기 위한 접속단자를 단부에 구비하고 있는 전압 센싱부재들;
상기 전지셀 적층체의 일측면 단부와 상단 및 하단 일부를 감싸는 구조로서, 상기 전압 센싱부재들이 삽입되어 장착되기 위한 장착부가 구비되어 있는 상부 케이스; 및
상기 전지셀 적층체의 타측면 단부와 상단 및 하단 일부를 감싸면서 상기 상부 케이스와 결합되는 구조로서, 전면부에 외부 입출력 단자가 구비되어 있는 하부 케이스;
를 포함하고 있으며,
상기 전압 센싱부재는 상부로부터 전극단자 연결부에 끼워지는 리셉터클 구조로 형성되어 있고, 상기 장착부는 전극단자 연결부가 삽입되는 방향으로 폭이 좁아지는 구조로 이루어져 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈. - 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전지셀은 전극단자들이 상단 및 하단에 각각 형성되어 있는 판상형 전지셀인 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전압 센싱부재는 전지셀 적층체의 전면에 위치한 전극단자 연결부와 접속되는 전방 센싱부재와, 전지셀 적층체의 후면에 위치한 전극단자 연결부와 접속되는 후방 센싱부재를 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 전방 센싱부재와 후방 센싱부재는 각각 중공형 구조의 커넥터 형상으로 이루어진 본체부와, 상기 본체부 내에 삽입된 상태에서 전지셀 전극단자들의 직렬 연결 절곡부위(전극단자 연결부)에 접속되는 접속단자로 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 본체부는 전극단자 연결부 별로 접속단자가 삽입될 수 있도록 하부가 분지형 구조로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 전방 센싱부재의 본체부는 하부가 3개 분지되어 있고, 후방 센싱부재의 본체부는 하부가 4개 분지되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 접속단자는 전극단자 연결부의 양 측면에 탄력적으로 접속되는 둘 이상의 접속부들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 전극단자 연결부의 양 측면에 접속되는 접속부들 사이의 폭은 전극단자 연결부의 폭보다 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 접속부들 사이의 폭은 전극단자 연결부의 폭의 105% 내지 200%인 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 접속부들은 전극단자 연결부가 끼워지면서 전극단자 연결부의 양 측면에 밀착되도록 접속부들 사이의 폭이 좁아지는 구조로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 장착부는 상부 케이스의 전면과 후면에 상향 개방 구조로 각각 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 절연성 소재의 커버가 상부로 개방된 전압 센싱부재를 외부로부터 밀폐하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전지셀 적층체는 전극단자들이 상단 및 하단에 각각 형성되어 있는 판상형 전지셀들을 포함하고 있는 단위모듈 다수 개로 이루어져 있고, 상기 단위모듈은,
전극단자들이 직렬 및/또는 병렬로 상호 연결되어 있는 둘 또는 그 이상의 전지셀들; 및
상기 전지셀들의 전극단자 부위를 제외하고 전지셀 적층체의 외면 전체를 감싸도록 상호 결합되는 한 쌍의 고강도 셀 커버;
를 포함하는 것으로 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈. - 제 1 항 내지 제 13 항 중 어느 하나에 따른 전지모듈을 단위체로 사용하여 제조되는 고출력 대용량의 중대형 전지팩.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 전지팩은 전지모듈들이 측면방향으로 적층되어 있고, 상기 전지모듈들은 각각 전압 센싱부재를 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 중대형 전지팩.
- 제 15 항에 있어서, 상기 전압 센싱부재들은 각각 와이어링 하니스에 의해 BMS(Battery Management System)에 연결되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 중대형 전지팩.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 전지팩은 전기자동차, 하이브리드 전기자동차, 또는 플러그-인 하이브리드 전기자동차의 전원으로 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 중대형 전지팩.
