Abstract
Description
Claims (13)
- 수성 중합 매질에서 적어도 하나의 자유-라디칼 개시제 및 적어도 하나의 고분지형 중합체의 존재 하에 적어도 하나의 에틸렌계 불포화 단량체 M을 자유-라디칼 개시 중합시킴으로써 100 nm 이하의 수-평균 입자 직경을 갖는 중합체 입자의 수성 분산액을 제조하는 방법이며,
적어도 하나의 에틸렌계 불포화 단량체 M의 총량 (총 단량체 양)을 기준으로 하여 1 중량% 이하의 적어도 하나의 분산 보조제 및 5 중량% 이상 60 중량% 이하의 적어도 하나의 고분지형 중합체를 사용하여 중합을 수행하고,
상기 적어도 하나의 고분지형 중합체는 고분지형 중합체의 그램 당 0.3 mmol 이상의 산 기를 함유하는 것이며,
초기에 수성 중합 매질에 단지
적어도 하나의 고분지형 중합체의 총량의 10 중량% 이상 및
임의로 적어도 하나의 에틸렌계 불포화 단량체 M의 총량의 50 중량% 이하
만을 도입하고, 이어서 중합 조건 하에 적어도 하나의 고분지형 중합체의 나머지 모두를 첨가하고, 적어도 하나의 에틸렌계 불포화 단량체 M의 총량 또는 나머지 모두를 첨가하고, 80 중량% 이상의 단량체 전환율까지 중합을 수행하는 것을 포함하는 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 고분지형 중합체가 고분지형 중합체의 그램 당 0.5 mmol 이상 20 mmol 이하의 산 기를 함유하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 고분지형 중합체의 산 기가 카르복실산 기 (-CO2H), 술폰산 기 (-SO3H) 및/또는 포스폰산 기 (-PO3H2)로부터 선택되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 고분지형 중합체가 수지상 중합체인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 고분지형 중합체가 700 g/mol 이상 50,000 g/mol 이하의 수-평균 분자량을 갖는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 고분지형 중합체의 총량이 총 단량체 양을 기준으로 하여 5 중량% 이상 30 중량% 이하인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 고분지형 중합체의 총량이 초기 충진물에 포함되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 에틸렌계 불포화 단량체 M의 총량이 적어도 2개의 비공액 에틸렌계 불포화 이중 결합을 갖는 적어도 하나의 단량체 M 0.01 중량% 이상 60 중량% 이하를 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 에틸렌계 불포화 단량체 M을 중합 조건 하에 벌크로 첨가하는 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 수성 중합 매질이 2 이상 10 이하의 pH를 갖는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 방법에 의해 수득가능한 수성 중합체 분산액.
- 제11항에 따른 수성 중합체 분산액을 건조시킴으로써 수득가능한 중합체 분말.
- 접착제, 실란트, 중합체 렌더, 종이 코팅 슬립, 섬유 부직포, 코팅 조성물, 화장 제제 또는 발포체를 제조하거나 또는 미네랄 결합제 또는 플라스틱을 개질하기 위한 제11항에 따른 수성 중합체 분산액 또는 제12항에 따른 중합체 분말의 용도.
