Claims (21)
- 서로 마주하는 제1 표시판 및 제2 표시판,상기 제1 표시판과 상기 제2 표시판 사이에 위치하고, 반응성 메조겐(reactive mesogen)으로부터 유래되어 있는 제1 화합물 및 선경사(pretilt)되어 있는 액정 분자를 포함하는 액정층, 그리고상기 제1 표시판과 상기 제2 표시판 사이에 위치하는 배향막을 포함하고,상기 배향막은,이무수물(dianhydride)계 화합물, 그리고하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물을 포함하는 조성물로부터 유래되어 있는 폴리이미드를 포함하는 액정 표시 장치:[화학식 1]상기 화학식 1에서, R1은 치환 또는 비치환된 C1-C8의 알킬기이고, R2는 치환 또는 비치환된 C8-C30의 알킬기이고, A1은 지환족(aliphatic) 고리 및 방향족(aromatic) 고리를 포함하는 작용기이다.
- 제2항에서,상기 이무수물계 화합물의 몰 수에 대하여 상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물 및 상기 화학식 2로 표시되는 화합물의 몰 수의 합의 비율은 1/3 이상인 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 제1 화합물은 올리고머, 폴리머 또는 이들의 혼합물인 액정 표시 장치.
- 제7항에서,상기 제1 화합물의 길이 방향은 상기 제1 표시판의 표면에 대하여 경사져 있는 방향이며, 상기 액정 분자는 상기 제1 화합물의 길이 방향에 따라 선경사되어 있는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 제1 표시판은 박막 트랜지스터, 색필터 및 화소 전극을 더 포함하고, 상기 제2 표시판은 공통 전극을 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제9항에서,상기 제1 표시판은 차광 부재를 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제10항에서,상기 화소 전극은 미세 가지 전극을 포함하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제10항에서,상기 제1 표시판은 제1 기판, 상기 제1 기판 위에 위치하는 게이트선, 상기 제1 기판 위에 위치하는 제1 데이터선, 그리고 상기 제1 기판 위에 위치하는 제2 데이터선을 더 포함하고,상기 박막 트랜지스터는 상기 게이트선 및 상기 제1 데이터선과 연결되어 있는 제1 박막 트랜지스터, 그리고 상기 게이트선 및 상기 제2 데이터선과 연결되어 있는 제2 박막 트랜지스터를 포함하고, 그리고상기 화소 전극은 상기 제1 박막 트랜지스터와 연결되어 있는 제1 부화소 전극, 그리고 상기 제2 박막 트랜지스터와 연결되어 있는 제2 부화소 전극을 포함하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1 표시판에 배향막을 형성하는 단계,상기 제1 표시판과 제2 표시판 사이에 반응성 메조겐 및 액정 분자를 포함하는 액정층을 형성하는 단계,상기 액정층에 전압을 인가하는 단계, 그리고상기 액정층에 빛을 조사하는 단계를 포함하고,상기 배향막은,이무수물(dianhydride)계 화합물, 그리고하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물을 포함하는 조성물로부터 형성되는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법:[화학식 1]상기 화학식 1에서, R1은 치환 또는 비치환된 C1-C8의 알킬기이고, R2는 치환 또는 비치환된 C8-C30의 알킬기이고, A1은 지환족 고리 및 방향족 고리를 포함하는 작용기이다.
- 제14항에서,상기 이무수물계 화합물의 몰 수에 대하여 상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물 및 상기 화학식 2로 표시되는 화합물의 몰 수의 합의 비율은 1/3 이상인 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제13항에서,상기 빛은 자외선인 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제13항에서,상기 빛의 조사에 의해 상기 반응성 메조겐으로부터 제1 화합물을 합성하고, 상기 제1 화합물은 올리고머, 폴리머 또는 이들의 혼합물인 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제20항에서,상기 제1 화합물의 길이 방향은 상기 제1 표시판의 표면에 대하여 경사져 있는 방향이며, 상기 액정 분자는 상기 제1 화합물의 길이 방향에 따라 선경사되어 있는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
