[해결수단] 본 발명의 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리는, 실외측 유리판, 중간막, 플라스틱 필름, 중간막, 실내측 유리판의 순서로 적층해서 되는 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리에 있어서, 유리판이 굽힘가공에 의해 만곡된 형상으로, 플라스틱 필름에 적외선 반사막이 형성되어 되며, 적어도 하나의 변에서, 플라스틱 필름의 에지가 유리판의 에지로부터 5 ㎜ 이상 200 ㎜ 이하의 범위에서 유리판의 중앙측에 떨어져 있는 것을 특징으로 한다.

플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리{Laminated glass with inserted plastic film}
본 발명은 유리판, 중간막, 투명한 플라스틱 필름, 중간막, 유리판을 이 순서로 적층해서 제작되는 적층 유리에 관한 것으로, 특히 자동차의 창에 사용되는 적층 유리에 관한 것이다.
플라스틱 필름, 특히 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트 필름을 협지한 2장의 중간막을 사용하여 2장의 유리판을 적층한 것이, 열선반사기능을 부여한 적층 유리로서 알려져 있다.
통상, 적층 유리는 오토클레이브를 사용하여 고온고압처리되어, 유리판과 폴리에스테르 필름이 중간막에 의해 열융착된다.
예를 들면, 특허문헌 1에서는, 박막이 폴리에스테르 필름으로 형성되어 되는 열선반사 플라스틱 필름을 2장의 중간막으로 협지한 가요성 적층체를, 2장의 유리판 사이에 끼워 적층되는 적층 유리가 개시되어 있다.
또한, 2장의 만곡된 유리판 사이에 플라스틱 필름을 적층하는 경우, 플라스틱 필름에 주름이 발생하기 쉬워, 특허문헌 2에는, 플라스틱 필름의 주변부에 컷부를 형성한 것이 개시되어 있다.

자동차의 창유리, 특히 전면의 창유리에 사용되는 적층 유리는, 변의 길이가 1 m에서 2 m 정도의 크기로, 특허문헌 2에 개시되어 있는 방법의 경우, 컷을 크게 하면 외관이 나쁘고, 작게 하면 주름의 발생을 방지하는 것이 곤란해진다.
본 발명은, 플라스틱 필름을 적층 유리의 중간막 사이에 삽입해서 되는 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리에 있어서, 플라스틱 필름에 주름의 발생이 없고, 외관 불량이 없는 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리의 제공을 과제로 한다.
본 발명의 제1 견지는, 실외측 유리판, 중간막, 플라스틱 필름, 중간막, 실내측 유리판의 순서로 적층해서 되는 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리로서, 유리판이 굽힘가공에 의해 만곡된 형상으로, 플라스틱 필름에 적외선 반사막이 형성되어 되며, 적어도 하나의 변에서, 플라스틱 필름의 에지가 유리판의 에지로부터 5 ㎜ 이상 200 ㎜ 이하의 범위에서 유리판의 중앙측에 떨어져 있는 것이다.
또한, 본 발명의 제2 견지는, 제1 견지에 기재된 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리에 있어서, 플라스틱 필름의 두께가 50 ㎛에서 200 ㎛의 범위에 있는 것이다.
또한, 본 발명의 제3 견지는, 제1 견지 또는 제2 견지에 기재된 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리에 있어서, 플라스틱 필름에, 유전체의 다층막으로 되는 적외선 반사막 또는 금속막이 형성되어 되는 것이다.
또한, 본 발명의 제4 견지는, 제1 견지 내지 제3 견지 중 어느 하나에 기재된 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리에 있어서, 플라스틱 필름이, 유리판의 형태 또는 착색막의 에지의 형태와 대략 상사형(相似形)으로 재단되어 되는 것이다.
또한, 본 발명의 제5 견지는, 제1 견지 내지 제4 견지 중 어느 하나에 기재된 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리에 있어서, 플라스틱 필름의 주변 에지의 절단면의 필름면에 대한 각도가 30~60도 사이에 있는 것이다.
또한, 본 발명의 제6 견지는, 제1 견지 내지 제5 견지 중 어느 하나에 기재된 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리에 있어서, 착색막이 실외측 유리의 주변부에 띠형상으로 형성되어 되는 것이다.
또한, 본 발명의 제7 견지는, 제1 견지 내지 제6 견지 중 어느 하나에 기재된 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리에 있어서, 유리판의 코너부 부근의 플라스틱 필름의 에지를 유리판의 에지와 겹치도록 한 것이다.
또한, 본 발명의 제8 견지는, 제1 견지 내지 제7 견지 중 어느 하나에 기재된 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리에 있어서, 플라스틱 필름에 위치 맞춤을 위한 마킹이 형성되어 되는 것이다.
2장의 중간막으로 플라스틱 필름을 협지하여, 제작되는 적층 유리에 있어서, 플라스틱 필름에 주름이 없는, 실용 가능한, 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리의 제공을 가능하게 한다.
본 발명의 플라스틱 삽입 적층 유리는, 도 1, 2에 나타내는 바와 같이, 삽입하는 플라스틱 필름의 에지(4)가, 플라스틱 삽입 적층 유리의 에지(2)와 착색막의 에지(3) 사이에 위치하는 것이다.
차외측 유리판(10), 차내측 유리판(13)에는, 저비용으로 얻어지는 플로트법에 의한 소다석회유리를 굽힘가공하여 얻어지는 만곡된 유리판을 사용하는 것이 간편하다.
만곡된 유리판의 형상은, 플로트법으로 제작된 유리판을 연화점 이상으로 가열하여, 자중법이나 프레스법 등으로 소정의 만곡형상으로 가공하여 얻어진다.
중간막(11, 12)으로는, 폴리비닐부티랄(PVB)이나 에틸렌비닐아세테이트(EVA) 등의 핫멜트 타입의 접착제가 바람직하게 사용된다.
플라스틱 필름(14)으로는, 연신법으로 제작되어 있는 것이 바람직하고, 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리에틸렌나프탈레이트, 폴리카보네이트, 폴리메틸메타크릴레이트, 폴리에테르설폰, 나일론, 폴리아릴레이트, 시클로올레핀 폴리머 등으로 되는 플라스틱 필름 중에서 선택해서 사용할 수 있다.
특히 2축 연신법으로 제막되는 결정성 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트 필름(PET 필름)은, 내열성도 우수하여 광범위한 온도환경에 사용할 수 있으며, 또한, 투명성이 높고, 대량으로 생산되고 있기 때문에 품질도 안정하여 매우 적합하다.
플라스틱 필름(14)의 두께는 50 ㎛보다도 얇으면 필름이 변형되기 쉬워지고, 주름이 발생하기 쉽다. 또한, 필름의 취급이 어렵고, 또한 적외선 반사막을 성막한 경우에는 적외선 반사막의 응력에 의해 컬되기 쉽다. 한편, 필름의 두께가 200 ㎛보다 두꺼우면 적층 가공시에 탈기 불량에 의한 외관 결함이 생기기 때문에, 두께는 50 ㎛~200 ㎛인 것이 바람직하다.
플라스틱 필름(14)은 고온이 되면 유연성이 증대되기 때문에, 중간막(11)과 중간막(12)으로 협지하여, 적층 유리의 제조과정에 있어서, 오토클레이브에 의해 고온고압으로 하여, 중간막(11, 12)에 의해 열융착할 때, 플라스틱 필름(14)은 신축되어, 차외측 유리판(10)의 만곡형상과 거의 동일한 형상으로 되나, 차외측 유리판(10)의 곡률반경이 작으면 주름이 발생하기 쉬워져, 주름이 플라스틱 삽입 적층 유리의 주변부에 발생되어 버린다.
따라서, 도 1, 2에 나타내는 바와 같이, 플라스틱 필름의 에지(4)와 플라스틱 삽입 적층 유리의 에지(2)를 일치시키지 않고, 플라스틱 필름의 에지(4)가 유리면에 위치하도록 하여, 플라스틱 필름(14)의 면적을 플라스틱 삽입 적층 유리(1)보다도 작게 하여, 주름의 발생을 방지하는 것이 바람직하다.
이 때문에, 도 3의 플라스틱 필름 삽입 유리의 에지(2)부터 플라스틱 필름 에지(4)까지의 거리(d1)를 5 ㎜ 이상으로 하는, 유리판의 면적보다도 작은 면적의 플라스틱 필름을 삽입하는 것이 바람직하다.
또한, 플라스틱 필름의 에지(4)에 태양광이 닿으면, 플라스틱 필름의 에지(4)에서 빛이 산란되어, 플라스틱 필름의 에지(4)가 눈에 띌 뿐 아니라, 운전에 지장을 초래할 우려가 있기 때문에, 차외측에 위치하는 차외측 유리판(10)의 적층면에 착색막(15)을 설치하여, 플라스틱 필름의 에지(4)에 태양광이 닿지 않도록 하는 것이 바람직하다.
즉, 도 3에 나타내는 바와 같이, 플라스틱 필름 삽입 유리의 에지(2)부터 플라스틱 필름의 에지(4)까지의 거리(d1)는, 플라스틱 필름 삽입 유리의 에지(2)부터 착색막의 에지(3)까지의 거리(d2)보다도 작게 하는 것이 바람직하다.
또한, 플라스틱 필름의 에지가 중간막(11)과 중간막(12)으로 덮혀 있기 때문에, 플라스틱 필름의 에지가, 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리의 에지와 동일하여 수분에 노출되는 형상에 비해, 수분에 의한 열화(劣化)를 방지할 수 있는 효과도 있다.
또한, 플라스틱 필름의 절단면은, 플라스틱 필름 표면(16)에 직각인 면으로 형성하기 보다, 도 4에 나타내는 각도(θ)가 30~60도 사이에 있는 경사면(17)으로 하는 편이, 플라스틱 필름의 에지(4)가 중간막(11, 12)에 충분히 덮이기 때문에, 플라스틱 필름의 에지(4) 부근의 기포의 잔존이 없어져 내구성이 향상되어 바람직하다. θ가 30도보다 작으면 절단이 어렵고, 60도를 초과하면 경사면으로 하는 효과가 없어진다.
플라스틱 필름(14)의 에지를 경사면(17)으로 하면, 플라스틱 필름면(16)을 수직으로 본 에지의 폭(d3)은 0은 아니게 되나, 플라스틱 필름의 두께는 200 ㎛ 이하이기 때문에, 최대 에지의 폭(d3)은 200 ㎛/tan(30)에서 약 0.4 ㎜로 되어, 플라스틱 필름의 에지(4)의 위치를 소정 위치에 맞출 때, 에지의 폭(d3)은 오차로서 처리할 수 있는 크기이다.
착색막은 차외측 유리판(10)을 굽힘가공하여 제작하기 전에, 유리판의 주변부에 스크린인쇄로 세라믹 페이스트를 인쇄하고, 굽힘가공시에 소성하여 성형하는 것이 바람직하며, 불투명하다면 어떤 색이어도 좋으나, 특히 검정색은 착색막의 존재가 눈에 띄지 않기 때문에 바람직하다.
플라스틱 필름(14)은 플라스틱 삽입 적층 유리(1)보다도 사이즈가 작기 때문에, 플라스틱 필름의 에지(4)의 위치를 소정 위치에 맞추는 것이 곤란해진다.
이 때문에, 도 5와 같이, 플라스틱 필름의 에지(4)를 맞추기 위한 위치 맞춤용 마크(20)를 차내측 유리에 마련하여, 플라스틱 필름(14)이 소정 위치에 삽입되도록 하는 것이 바람직하다.
위치 맞춤용 마크는 2개소 이상 마련하는 것이 바람직하고, 변부 또는 코너부 중 어느 위치여도 된다.
또한, 도 6과 같이, 플라스틱 필름의 에지(4)와 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리의 에지(2)가 코너부에서 일치하도록 해도 된다.
플라스틱 필름의 에지(4)와 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리의 에지(2)를 일치시키는 코너부의 수는, 2개소 이상으로 하는 것이 바람직하다.
실시예
실시예 1
자동차용 전면창에 사용되는 플라스틱 삽입 적층 유리를, 다음과 같이 제작하였다.
차외측 유리판(10)과 차내측 유리판(13)을 제작하기 위해, 창 사이즈보다도 큰 면적의 유리판으로부터, 2장의 유리판을, 창 사이즈에 맞춰서 소정의 형태·사이즈로 유리 컷터로 잘라내고, 단면을 연마처리하였다. 이 2장의 유리판을 세정, 건조한 후, 차외측에 위치하는 유리판의 적층면측(중간막으로 접착되는 면측)에, 검정색의 세라믹 페이스트를 스크린 인쇄하고, 건조하였다.
세라믹 페이스트를 스크린 인쇄한 유리판과 또 1장의 유리판을 겹쳐, 2장 동시에 굽힘가공로(爐) 중에서 가열하고, 곡면형상의 유리로 성형하여, 차외측 유리판(10), 차내측 유리판(13)으로 사용하였다. 또한, 굽힘가공로 중에서의 가열로, 스크린 인쇄된 세라믹 페이스트도 소성되어, 착색막(15)을 차외측 유리판(10)에 형성하였다.
착색막(15)의 폭(d2)은, 최소가 되는 곳에서는 30 ㎜, 최대가 되는 곳에서는 100 ㎜로 하였다.
창의 사이즈보다도 큰 면적의, 양면에 비결정성 폴리에스테르에 의한 이(易)접착층과 실란커플링층이 설치된, 두께가 100 ㎛인 PET 필름으로부터, 굽힘가공 전의 차외측 유리판(10)의 평판형상(차외측 유리판(10)을 제작하기 위해 잘라낸 유리판)과 거의 상사형의 PET 필름을, 중앙측에 1 ㎝ 축소시킨 사이즈로 NC 컷터로 잘라내, 플라스틱 필름(14)으로 하였다.
플라스틱 필름(14)을 잘라낼 때에는, 플라스틱 필름면에 대해 절단면이 수직방향이 아니라, 수직방향에서 30°의 경사각이 되도록 하여 잘라내었다.
두께 0.36 ㎜의 PVB 필름을 2장 사용하여, 상기 잘라낸 플라스틱 필름(14)을 이 2장의 PVB 필름으로 협지하였다.
차외측 유리판(10)과 차내측 유리판(13) 사이에, 상기 PET 필름을 협지한 2장의 PVB 필름을 삽입하였다.
이 PVB 필름의 삽입은, 플라스틱 필름의 에지(4)가 차외측 유리판(10)의 에지부터 10 ㎜가 되도록 하였다.
겹쳐진, 차외측 유리판(10)과 차내측 유리판의 에지로부터 비어져 나온 PVB 필름을 컷터로 잘라낸 후, 차외측 유리판(10)과 차내측 유리판(13) 사이를 탈기하고, 추가적으로, 오토클레이브에 의한 가압·가열처리를 행하여, 플라스틱 삽입 적층 유리(1)를 제작하였다.
제작한 플라스틱 삽입 적층 유리는, 협지한 PET 필름의 주름도 없고, 또한 PET 필름의 에지(4)는 검정색의 착색막에 가려져 차외로부터 보이지 않아, 자동차용 전면 유리로서 양호하게 사용할 수 있는 것이었다.
실시예 2
두께가 50 ㎛인 PET 필름의 편면에, 산화아연과 은을 적층해서 되는 적외선 반사막이 형성되어 되는 PET 필름으로부터, 차외측 유리판(10)에 형성된 착색막의 에지(3)보다도 11 ㎜ 커지는 형태로, 즉, d2-d1=11 ㎜가 되도록, 차외측 유리판(10)의 투시부(플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리의 투시부(5))의 형태와 거의 상사형으로, 플라스틱 필름(14)을 잘라낸 것 이외에는, 실시예 1과 동일하게 하여, 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리(1)를 제작하였다.
제작한 플라스틱 삽입 적층 유리는, 근적외선을 반사하는 차열성 기능을 가지고, 협지한 PET 필름의 주름도 없으며, 또한 PET 필름의 에지(4)는 검정 테두리부에 가려져 차외로부터 보이지 않아, 자동차용 전면 유리로서 양호하게 사용할 수 있는 것이다.
실시예 3
두께가 188 ㎛인 PET 필름의 편면에, 실리카와 티타니아에 의한 유전체(9)층막으로 되는 적외선 반사막이 형성되어 되는 PET 필름으로부터, 차외측 유리판(10)에 형성된 착색막의 에지(3)보다도 5 ㎜ 커지는 형태로, 즉, d2-d1=5 ㎜가 되도록, 차외측 유리판(10)의 투시부(플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리의 투시부(5))의 형태와 거의 상사형으로, 플라스틱 필름(14)을 잘라낸 것 이외에는, 실시예 1과 동일하게 하여, 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리(1)를 제작하였다.
제작한 플라스틱 삽입 적층 유리(1)는, 근적외선을 반사하는 차열성 기능을 가지고, 협지한 PET 필름의 주름도 없으며, 또한 PET 필름의 에지(4)는 검정 테두리부에 가려져 차외로부터 보이지 않아, 자동차용 전면 유리로서 양호하게 사용할 수 있는 것이었다.
비교예 1
실시예 1에서 사용한 것과 동일한 유리판, PVB 필름, PET 필름을 사용하여, PET 필름을 2장의 PVB 필름에 끼워넣고, 추가적으로 2장의 유리판에 끼워넣어, 유리 에지로부터 비어져 나온 PVB 필름과 PET 필름을 컷터로 잘라내었다. 그 다음, 실시예 1과 동일하게 하여 플라스틱 삽입 적층 유리를 제작하였다.
제작한 플라스틱 삽입 적층 유리에는, 그 주변부에서, PET 필름에 주름이 발생하고, 또한, 주름에 의한 것으로 생각되는 주변부와 중앙부의 두께의 차이가, 투시 왜곡의 원인으로 되어, 자동차용 전면 유리로서는 사용할 수 없는 것이었다.

Claims (8)

  1. 유리판, 중간막, 플라스틱 필름, 중간막, 유리판의 순서로 적층해서 되는 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리로서, 유리판이 굽힘가공에 의해 만곡된 형상으로, 플라스틱 필름에 적외선 반사막이 형성되어 되며, 적어도 하나의 변에서, 플라스틱 필름의 에지가 유리판의 에지로부터 5 ㎜ 이상 200 ㎜ 이하의 범위에서 유리판의 중앙측에 떨어져 있다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    플라스틱 필름의 두께가 50 ㎛에서 200 ㎛의 범위에 있는 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    플라스틱 필름에, 유전체의 다층막으로 되는 적외선 반사막 또는 금속막이 형성되어 되는 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    플라스틱 필름이, 플라스틱 삽입 적층 유리의 형태 또는 플라스틱 필름 삽입 유리 투시부의 형태와 대략 상사형으로 재단되어 되는 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    플라스틱 필름의 주변 에지의 절단면의 필름면에 대한 각도가 30~60도 사이에 있는 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    착색막이 실외측 유리의 주변부에 띠형상으로 형성되어 되는 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리.
  7. 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    차내측 유리에 위치 맞춤용 마크가 형성되어 되는 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리.
  8. 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    유리판의 코너부 부근의 플라스틱 필름의 에지를 유리판의 에지와 겹치도록 한 플라스틱 필름 삽입 적층 유리.
