Claims (39)
- 종이 또는 판지를 제조하는 공정에 있어서,셀룰로오스 현탁액을 형성하는 단계;규산 물질 및 유기, 수용성, 음이온 또는 양이온, 수중수형 또는 분산 마이크로폴리머 조성물을 포함하는 침전 시스템을 추가하여 상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액을 침전시키되, 상기 규산 물질 및 상기 유기 마이크로폴리머는 동시에 또는 순차적으로 추가되는 단계;상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액을 스크린상에 배수하여 시트를 형성하는 단계; 및상기 시트를 건조하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 분산 마이크로폴리머 조성물은 그램당 0.2 데시리터 이상의 환산점도를 가지며, 5 내지 30 중량퍼센트의 고 분자량 마이크로폴리머 및 5 내지 30 중량퍼센트의 무기 응고 염을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 분산 마이크로폴리머 조성물은 수성 염 용액 내에 중합 가능한 단량체의 중합을 개시함으로써 제조되어 유기 마이크로폴리머 분산물을 형성하며, 최종 분산물은 그램당 0.2데시리터 이상의 환산점도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 염 용액은 무기 다원자가 이온 염의 수성 용액이며, 염 용액 내의 단량체들의 혼합물은 상기 단량체들의 전체 중량을 토대로 1 내지 30 중량퍼센트의 분산제 중합체를 포함하되, 상기 분산제 중합체는 상기 다원자가 이온 염의 수성 용액 내에서 가용성인 수용성 음이온 또는 양이온 중합체인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 무기 다원자가 이온 염은 알루미늄, 칼륨 또는 나트륨 및 황산, 질산, 인산 또는 염화물 음이온을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 분산 마이크로폴리머 조성물은 0.5 센티푸아즈(밀리파스칼-초) 이상의 용액 점도를 보여 주는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 분산 마이크로폴리머 조성물 용액은 적어도 5.0%의 이온성을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 수중수형 마이크로폴리머 조성물은 0.2dl/g 이상의 환산점도를 갖는 고 분자량 상, 및 4d/g 미만의 환산점도를 갖는 유기 응고제 내의 합성물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 수중수형 마이크로폴리머 조성물은 수성 저 분자량 응고제 용액 내에 중합 가능한 단량체의 수성 혼합물의 중합을 개시함으로써 제조되어 0.2dl/g 이상의 환산점도를 갖는 유기 수중수형 마이크로폴리머를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 수중수형 용액은 응고제의 수성 용액이며, 상기 응고제 용액 내의 단량체들의 혼합물은 상기 단량체들의 전체 무게를 토대로 1 내지 30 중량퍼센트의 분산제 중합체를 포함하며, 상기 분산제 중합체는 상기 응고제의 수성 용액 내에서 가용성인 수용성 음이온 또는 양이온 중합체인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 응고제는 에테르, 하이드록실, 카르복실, 설폰, 설페이트 에스테르-, 아미노, 아미도, 이미노, 3기-아미노, 및/또는 4기 암모늄 기로 이루어지는 군으로 부터 선택되는 적어도 하나의 작용기를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 응고제는 polyDIMAPA 또는 polyDADMAC인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 수중수형 마이크로폴리머 조성물은 0.5 센티푸아즈 이상의 용액 점도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 수중수형 마이크로폴리머 조성물은 적어도 5.0%의 이온성을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 2 항 또는 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 단량체는 아크릴아미드, 메타크릴레이트, 디알릴디메틸암모늄 클로라이드 (diallyldimethylammonium chloride), 4차 디메틸아미노에틸 아크릴레이트 메틸 클로라이드 염 (dimethylaminoethyl acrylate methyl chloride quaternary salt), 4차 디메틸아미노에틸 메타크릴레이트 메틸 클로라이드 염 (dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate methyl chloride quaternary salt), 아크릴아미도프로필트리메틸암모늄 클로라이드 (acrylamidopropyltrimethylammonium chloride), 메타크릴아미도프 로필트리메틸암모늄 클로라이드 (methacrylamidopropyltrimethylammonium chloride), 아크릴산 , 메타크릴산, 아크릴산 나트륨, 메타크릴산 나트륨, 메타크릴산 암모늄, 또는 전술한 단량체들 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 조합인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 15 항에 있어서,상기 단량체는 그의 전체 몰 숫자를 토대로 2 몰 퍼센트 이상의 양이온 또는 음이온 단량체를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 규산 물질은 음이온 극미립자 또는 나노미립자 실리카-계 물질인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 규산 물질은 벤토나이트 점토인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 규산 물질은 실리카-계 입자, 실리카 마이크로겔, 콜로이드 모양의 실리카, 실리카 졸, 실리카 겔, 폴리실리케이트, 알루미노실리케이트, 폴리알루미노실리케이트, 보로실리케이트, 폴리보로실리케이트, 제오라이트, 팽창성 점토, 및 그들의 조합을 포함하며, 상기 규산 물질은 헥토라이트 (hectorite),스멕타이트 (smectite), 몬모리노나이트 (montmorillonites), 논트로나이트 (nontronites), 사포나이트 (saponite), 사우코나이트 (sauconites), 호마이트(hormite), 에타플자이트 (attapulgites), 라포나이트 (laponite), 세피오라이트 (sepiolites), 또는 전술한 물질들 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 조합으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 물질인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 유기 마이크로폴리머 및 상기 무기 규산 물질은 순차적으로 또는 동시에 상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액 내로 유입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 규산 물질은 상기 유기 마이크로폴리머 전에 상기 현탁액 내로 유입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 유기 마이크로폴리머는 상기 규산 물질 전에 상기 현탁액 내로 유입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액은 상기 규산 물질 및 상기 유기 마이크로폴리머의 유입 전에 응집제의 유입에 의해 처리되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 23 항에 있어서,상기 응집제는 수용성 양이온 유기 중합체, 폴리아민류, 폴리 ( 디알릴디메틸암모늄 클로라이드) (poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride)),폴리에틸렌이민 (polyethyleneimine), 황화 알루미늄, 폴리염화알루미늄, 삼수화 염화 알루미늄, 알루미늄 클로로하이드레이트 (aluminum chlorohydrate), 및 그들의 조합으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 양이온 물질인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 20 항에 있어서,상기 침전 시스템은 적어도 하나의 응집제/응고제를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,상기 응집제/응고제는 수용성 중합체인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 22 항에 있어서,상기 수용성 중합체는 수용성 에틸렌 불포화 단량체, 또는 적어도 하나의 형태의 음이온 또는 양이온 단량체를 포함하는 에틸렌 불포화 단량체들의 수용성 조 합으로부터 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액은 먼저 상기 응고 물질을 유입함으로써 침전되고, 선택적으로 기계적 전단 과정에 들어가며, 그 후, 상기 규산 물질 및 상기 마이크로폴리머 조성물을 유입함으로써 재침전되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 28 항에 있어서,상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액은 상기 마이크로폴리머 조성물 전에 상기 규산 물질을 유입함으로써 재침전되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 28 항에 있어서,상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액은 상기 규산 물질 전에 상기 유기 마이크로폴리머를 유입함으로서 재침전되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액은, 상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액의 전체 건조 중량을 토대로, 0.01 내지 50 중량퍼센트의 양의 충전재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 31 항에 있어서,상기 충전재는 침전된 칼슘 카보네이트, 그라운드 칼슘 카보네이트, 카올린, 초크, 활석, 나트륨 알루미늄 실리케이트, 황산 칼슘, 이산화 티타늄, 및 그들의 조합으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액은 충전재가 거의 없는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 종이 또는 판지를 제조하는 공정에 있어서,셀룰로오스 현탁액을 형성하는 단계;0.2dl/g 이상의 환산점도를 갖는 수용성 합성 중합체를 추가하여 상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액을 침전시켜 침전된 셀룰로오스 현탁액을 형성하는 단계;상기 침전된 셀룰로오스 현탁액을 적어도 한번 기계적 전단을 겪도록 하는 단계;재침전 시스템을 추가하여 상기 기계적으로 전단된 현탁액을 재침전시키되, 상기 재침전 시스템은규산 물질 및수용성, 무-용매 음이온 또는 양이온, 수중수형 또는 분산 마이크로 폴리머를 포함하는 단계;상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액을 스크린상에서 배수하여 시트를 형성하는 단계; 및상기 시트를 건조하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 종이 또는 판지를 제조하는 공정에 있어서,셀룰로오스 현탁액을 형성하는 단계;상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액을 하나 또는 그 이상의 전단 스테이지를 통과시키는 단계;상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액을 스크린상에서 배수하여 시트를 형성하는 단계; 및상기 시트를 건조하는 단계를 포함하되,상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액은 0.01 중량퍼센트 이상의 무기 염 용액 또는 유기 응고제 용액 내의 유기 마이크로폴리머; 및무기 규산 물질을 포함하는 침전 시스템을 추가함으로써 배수 전에 침전되며;상기 유기 마이크로폴리머 및 상기 무기 규산 물질은 상기 전단 스테이지 중 하나 후에 추가되며;상기 유기 마이크로폴리머 및 상기 무기 규산 물질은 동시에 또는 순차적으로 추가되며;상기 침전 시스템은 침전물이 형성되도록 상기 전단 스테이지 전에 상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액에 추가되는, 500,000 원자 질량 단위 이상의 분자량을 갖는, 거의 선형의 합성 양이온, 비-이온, 또는 음이온 중합체를 포함하는 유기 수용성 응집제 물질을 더 포함하며;상기 침전물은 상기 전단에 의해 파쇄되어 마이크로 침전물을 형성하는바, 상기 마이크로 침전물은 상기 전단에 의한 추가 열화에 저항하며, 충분한 음이온 또는 양이온 전하를 운반하여 상기 규산 물질 및 상기 유기 마이크로폴리머를 상호 작용시킴으로써, 상기 응집제 물질을 상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액에 먼저 추가하지 않고 고 전단의 최종 지점 후에 상기 침전 시스템을 추가하는 경우에 얻어지는 것 보다 더 좋은 보유 특성을 제공하며;중량퍼센트는 건조 셀룰로오스 현탁액의 전체 중량을 토대로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 35 항에 있어서,상기 하나 또는 그 이상의 전단 스테이지는 세척, 혼합, 펌핑, 또는 전술한 전단 스테이지 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 조합인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 35 항에 있어서,상기 하나 또는 그 이상의 전단 스테이지는 중심 스크린을 포함하되, 상기 응고 물질은 상기 중심 스크린 전에 상기 셀룰로오스 현탁액에 추가되며, 상기 규산 물질 및 유기 마이크로폴리머는 상기 중심 스크린 후에 추가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 35 항에 있어서,상기 하나 또는 그 이상의 전단 스테이지는 중심 스크린을 포함하며, 상기 마이크로폴리머의 침전 시스템의 도포와 규산 물질 사이에 위치될 수 있으며; 상기 규산 물질은 하나 또는 그 이상의 전단 스테이지 전에 도포 되고 상기 유기 마이크로폴리머는 최종 전단 지점 후에 도포 되며; 양이온, 음이온 또는 비-이온인 상기 거의 선형의 합성 중합체의 도포는 상기 선형 합성 중합체 및 상기 유기 마이크로폴리머가 유사한 전하로 이루어지는 경우 최종 전단 지점 후 상기 유기 마이크로폴리머 전 또는 상기 유기 마이크로폴리머와 동시에 도포 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제 35 항에 있어서,상기 하나 또는 그 이상의 전단 스테이지는 중심 스크린을 포함하며, 상기 마이크로폴리머의 침전 시스템의 도포와 상기 규산 물질 사이에 위치될 수 있으며; 상기 유기 마이크로폴리머는 하나 또는 그 이상의 전단 스테이지 전에 도포 되고 상기 규산 물질은 최종 전단 지점 후에 도포 되며; 양이온, 음이온 또는 비-이온 전하의 거의 선형의 합성 중합체의 도포는 상기 규산 물질 전 바람직하게는 하나 또는 그 이상의 전단 지점 전 또는 유사 전하로 이루어지는 경우 상기 유기 마이크로폴리머와 동시에 도포 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
