Abstract
Description
Claims (11)
- 광원을 포함하는 디스플레이장치에 있어서,소정의 구동전원을 상기 광원에 공급하는 복수의 전원구동부와;각각의 상기 전원구동부에서 공급되는 각각의 구동전원의 전류가 소정의 위상차를 갖도록 복수의 상기 전원구동부를 제어하는 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전원구동부는,소정의 정전류원으로부터 출력되는 전류를 상기 광원으로 공급하는 스위칭부와;상기 스위칭부의 온/오프를 제어하기 위한 PWM 신호를 발생시키는 PWM 발생부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 제어부는 각각의 PWM 신호가 소정의 위상차만큼 순차적으로 지연되도록 각각의 상기 PWM 발생부를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 제어부는 각각의 상기 PWM 신호가 소정의 위상차를 갖도록 동기시키는 동기신호를 상기 PWM 발생부로 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 PWM 신호의 주파수가 f이고, 상기 전원구동부가 N개 마련되는 경우, 상기 위상차는 1/f*N 인 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 광원은 상기 스위칭부가 온 상태에 있는 경우 공급되는 전류의 크기가 증가하고, 오프 상태에 있는 경우 공급되는 전류의 크기가 감소하는 스위칭방식에 의해 전류가 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 PWM 발생부는 상기 광원에 흐르는 전류를 검출하여 검출된 전류와 소정의 지령치를 비교하고, 비교결과에 따라 상기 스위칭부의 온/오프를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 PWM 발생부는 비교결과 상기 검출된 전류가 상기 지령치를 초과하는 경우 경우 상기 스위칭부를 턴온시키고, 상기 검출된 전류가 상기 지령치 이하인 경 우 상기 스위칭부를 턴오프시키기 위한 PWM 신호를 발생시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 광원은 발광다이오드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이장치.
- 광원을 포함하는 디스플레이장치의 제어방법에 있어서,복수의 전원구동부를 마련하는 단계와;상기 광원에 정전류를 공급하기 위한 PWM 신호를 발생시키는 단계와;상기 PWM 신호를 소정의 위상차만큼 순차적으로 지연시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이장치의 제어방법.
- 제10항에 있어서,상기 PWM 신호를 지연시키는 단계는,상기 PWM 신호가 소정의 위상차를 갖도록 동기시키는 동기신호를 발생시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이장치의 제어방법.
