Claims (39)
- 미립자 필터, 상기 필터의 상류에 배치된 제1 NOx 흡수제 및 상기 필터의 하류에 배치된 제2 NOx 흡수제를 포함하는 린번 내연 엔진용 배기 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1 NOx 흡수제는 약 300℃ 이상에서 람다 > 1 조건 중에 저장된 NOx를 방출하기에 적당한 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 제1 NOx 흡수제는 세륨, 란탄, 알루미나(Al2O3), 철, 아연, 칼슘, 나트륨, 마그네슘 및 이들 중 임의의 2 이상의 혼합물 중 1 이상을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제2 NOx 흡수제는 람다 > 1 조건 중에 약 300℃ 내지 약 550℃에서 NOx를 저장할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제4항에 있어서, 제2 흡수제는 1 이상의 알칼리 금속, 1 이상의 알칼리토 금속 또는 1 이상의 희토류 금속 또는 이들 중 임의의 2 이상의 혼합물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제5항에 있어서, 1 이상의 알칼리 금속은 칼륨 또는 세슘 또는 이들의 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제5항 또는 제6항에 있어서, 1 이상의 알칼리토 금속은 스트론튬 또는 바륨 또는 이들의 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제5항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 1 이상의 희토류 금속은 이트륨, 프라세오디뮴, 네오디뮴, 프로메튬, 사마륨, 유로퓸, 가돌리늄, 테르븀, 디스프로슘, 홀뮴, 에르븀, 툴륨, 이테르븀 및 루테튬 또는 이들 중 임의의 2 이상의 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제1 및/또는 제2 NOx 흡수제는 1 이상의 백금족 금속(PGM)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제9항에 있어서, 제1 NOx 흡수제의 1 이상의 PGM은 백금으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제9항에 있어서, 1 이상의 PGM은 백금 및 로듐을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제1항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 필터는 촉매 작용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제12항에 있어서, 필터 촉매는 1 이상의 PGM을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제13항에 있어서, 1 이상의 PGM은 필터를 형성하는 물질에 의해 지지되는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제12항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 1 이상의 추가 촉매는 바나듐, 텅스텐 또는 몰리브덴의 알칼리 금속 염, 바나듐, 텅스텐 또는 몰리브덴의 알칼리토 금속 염 또는 바나듐, 텅스텐 또는 몰리브덴의 란탄 염, 오산화바나듐, 바나듐산은 및 바나듐산구리로 구성된 군 중에서 선택도는 용융염을 포함하는 매연 연소 촉매를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진.
- 제1항 내지 제15항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 배기 가스 내 NO를 NO2로 산화시시키기 위한 산화 촉매를 포함하며, 상기 촉매는 제1 NOx 흡수제와 필터 사이 및/또는 배기 매니폴드와 제1 NOx 흡수제 사이에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제16항에 있어서, NO 산화 촉매는 1 이상의 PGM을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제1항 내지 제17항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제1 NOx 흡수제와 필터 사이 및/또는 필터와 제2 NOx 흡수제 사이에 배치된 산소 저장 성분(OSC)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제18항에 있어서, OSC는 세리아, 임의의 세리아-지르코니아 혼합 산화물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제1항 내지 제19항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 각각의 NOx 흡수제 및, 존재하는 경우, 필터 촉매 및/또는 NO 산화 촉매는 알루미나, 실리카, 실리카-알루미나, 지르코니아, 티타니아, 세리아, 세리아-지르코니아 또는 이들 중 임의의 2 이상의 혼합물 또는 이들 중 임의의 2 이상의 혼합 산화물 또는 복합 산화물의 지지체를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제20항에 있어서, 산화 촉매는 알루미나 상에 지지된 백금을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제20항 또는 제21항에 있어서, 지지체는 1 이상의 희토류 금속으로 안정화된 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제22항에 있어서, 1 이상의 희토류 금속은 란탄, 이트륨, 세륨, 프라세오디뮴, 네오디뮴, 프로메튬, 사마륨, 유로퓸, 가돌리늄, 테르븀, 디스프로슘, 홀뮴, 에르븀, 툴륨, 이테르븀 및 루테튬 또는 이들 중 임의의 2 이상의 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제1항 내지 제23항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 배기 가스를 제1 NOx 흡수제의 상류에서 환원제로 농후화하는 제1 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제24항에 있어서, 제1 농후화 수단은 환원제를 분사하기 위한 제1 포트를 포함하며, 상기 제1 포트는 배기 매니폴드와 제1 NOx 흡수제 사이에 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제24항 또는 제25항에 있어서, 배기 가스를 제1 NOx 흡수제와 필터 사이에 환원제로 농후화시키기 위한 제2 수단을 포함하며, 상기 제2 농후화 수단은 환원제를 분사하기 위한 제2 포트를 포함하고, 상기 제2 포트는 제1 NOx 흡수제와 필터 사이에 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제24항 내지 제26항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제1 NOx 흡수제와 필터 사이에서 2차 공기 또는 희박 배기 가스를 배기 가스에 도입하기 위한 제1 수단으 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제24항 내지 제27항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 필터와 제2 NOx 흡수제 사이에서 배기 가스를 환원제로 농후화시키기 위한 제3 수단을 포함하며, 상기 제3 농후화 수단은 환원제를 분사하기 위한 제3 포트를 포함하고, 상기 제3 포트는 필터와 제2 NOx 흡수제 사이에 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제24항 내지 제28항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 필터와 제2 NOx 흡수제 사이에서 2차 공기 또는 희박 배기 가스를 배기 가스에 도입하기 위한 제2 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제24항 내지 제29항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 사용시, 배기 매니폴드와 제1 NOx 흡수제 사이에서 배기 가스를 환원제로 농후화시키는 것을 제어하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제26항 내지 제30항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 사용시, 제1 NOx 흡수제와 필터 사이에서 배기 가스를 환원제로 농후화시키는 것을 제어하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제28항 내지 제31항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 사용시, 필터와 제2 NOx 흡수제 사이에서 배기 가스를 환원제로 농후화시키는 것을 제어하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제27항 및, 제26항을 인용하는 제28항 내지 제32항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 사용시, 제1 NOx 흡수제와 필터 사이에서 2차 공기 또는 희박 배기 가스를 배기 가스에 도입하는 것을 제어하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제29항 및, 제29항을 인용하는 제30항 내지 제33항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 사용시, 제1 NOx 흡수제와 필터 사이에서 2차 공기 또는 희박 배기 가스를 배기 가스에 도입하는 것을 제어하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제30항 내지 제34항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제어 수단은 엔진 제어 유닛(ECU)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제24항 내지 제35항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 환원제는 탄화수소, 임의로 엔젠에 연료 공급하는 탄화수소인 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제1항 내지 제36항 중 어느 한 항의 배기 시스템을 포함하는 린번 내연 엔진.
- 제37항에 있어서, 디젤 엔진, 바람직하게는 경량 디젤 엔진인 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진.
- 린번 내연 엔진의 배기 시스템 내 질소 산화물(NOx) 및 미립자 물질(PM)을 제어하는 방법으로서, 제1 NOx 흡수제의 하류에서 배기 가스로부터 PM을 수집하는 단계, 제1 NOx 흡수제가 300℃ 이하의 온도일 때 제1 NOx 흡수제에 NOx를 흡수시키는 단계, 제1 NOx 흡수제가 300℃ 이상일 때 흡수된 NOx를 탈착하여 배기 가스 내 기존의 NOx에 첨가하는 단계, 배기 가스 내 NO2 중에서 수집된 매연을 연소시키는 단계 및 NO2 중에서의 매연 연소로부터 유도된 NOx를 흡수시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
