Description
Claims (7)
- 층위에 다른 층이 위치한 적어도 두 개의 데이터 층을 갖는 광 레코딩 매체(7)로부터 판독하고 및/또는 광 레코딩 매체(7)에 기록하기 위한 장치로서, 판독되고 및/또는 기록하는데 사용되는 입력 빔에 의해 레코딩 매체(7)에서 겪게되는 수차를 정정하기 위한 디바이스(4)를 가지며, 상기 입력 빔과 상기 레코딩 매체(7)에서 반사된 빔은 상기 수차를 정정하기 위한 디바이스를 통과하는 동안에 서로 본질적으로 수직한 편광 방향을 갖는, 광 레코딩 매체(7)로부터 판독하고 및/또는 광 레코딩 매체(7)에 기록하기 위한 장치에 있어서,상기 구면수차를 정정하기 위한 디바이스(4)는 상기 반사된 빔이 영향을 받지 않고 상기 디바이스(4)를 통과하도록 셋업된다는 것과, 상기 반사된 빔이 적어도 하나의 검출기 유닛(13, 15, 17, 18, 20) 상에 맺은 영상을 정정하기 위한 수단(12, 16, 19)은 추가적인 빔 경로에서 제공된다는 것을,특징으로 하는, 광 레코딩 매체(7)로부터 판독하고 및/또는 광 레코딩 매체(7)에 기록하기 위한 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 구면수차를 정정하기 위한 디바이스(4)는 상기 구면수차를 상쇄하기 위해 단 하나의 편광 방향에서 파면에 영향을 미치는 액정 요소로 구성되며, 1/4 파면(5)은 상기 입력 빔의 방향에서 상기 디바이스(4)의 다운스트림에서 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 광 레코딩 매체(7)로부터 판독하고 및/또는 광 레코딩 매체(7)에 기록하기 위한 장치.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 추가적인 빔 경로에서 제공되는 상기 정정 수단(12, 16, 19)은 상기 반사된 빔이 통과되고 상기 반사된 빔을 둘 이상의 부분 빔을 분할하는 하나 이상의 빔 분할기이며, 상기 개별 부분 빔은 상기 데이터 층 중 하나의 층에 대해서 각 경우에 최적화되는 하나의 검출기(13, 15) 상으로 각각 유도되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 광 레코딩 매체(7)로부터 판독하고 및/또는 광 레코딩 매체(7)에 기록하기 위한 장치.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 추가적인 빔 경로에 제공된 상기 정정 수단(12, 16, 19)은 상기 반사된 빔이 통과하고 상기 반사된 빔을 둘 이상의 부분 빔으로 분할하는 회절 렌즈이고, 상기 개별 부분 빔은 상기 데이터 층 중 하나의 층에 대해서 각 경우에 최적화되는 하나의 검출기(17, 18) 상으로 각각 유도되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 광 레코딩 매체(7)로부터 판독하고 및/또는 광 레코딩 매체(7)에 기록하기 위한 장치.
- 제 3항 또는 제 4항에 있어서, 상기 데이터 신호는 상기 검출기(13, 15, 17, 18)의 신호의 합계로부터 달성되고, 초점 에러 신호 및/또는 트랙 에러 신호는 각 데이터 층에 대해 최적화되는 상기 검출기(13, 15, 17, 18)의 신호로부터 달성되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 광 레코딩 매체(7)로부터 판독하고 및/또는 광 레코딩 매체(7)에 기록하기 위한 장치.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 추가적인 빔 경로에서 제공된 상기 정정 수단(12, 16, 19)은 상기 수차를 상쇄시키는 상기 파면을 정정하기 위한 디바이스(19)인 것을 특징으로 하는, 광 레코딩 매체(7)로부터 판독하고 및/또는 광 레코딩 매체(7)에 기록하기 위한 장치.
- 제 6항에 있어서, 상기 파면을 정정하기 위한 디바이스(19)는 액정 요소인 것을 특징으로 하는, 광 레코딩 매체(7)로부터 판독하고 및/또는 광 레코딩 매체(7)에 기록하기 위한 장치.
