Claims (8)
- 돔형부를 갖는 탄성 연마체를 이용한 연마 방법에 있어서,상기 탄성 연마체는 서로 곡률이 상이한 상기 돔형부를 갖는 것이 복수종 있으며,피연마면의 곡면 형상에 따라서 적어도 2개 이상의 상기 탄성 연마체를 선택하는 단계와,선택한 상기 탄성 연마체를 이용하여 상기 피연마면을 연마하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는연마 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 탄성 연마체는 각각 소정의 곡률에 대응하는 복수의 구획의 하나씩에 할당되고,상기 선택 단계에서는, 상기 피연마면의 하나의 곡률에 대하여 연마하는 단계에 앞서서, 이 하나의 곡률이 속하는 구획이 할당된 곡률을 가진 탄성 연마체를 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는연마 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 구획은 상기 피연마면의 복수의 곡률중 최대의 곡률로부터 최소의 곡률까지의 범위를 분할하여 설치되는 것을 특징으로 하는연마 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 선택 단계에서는, 상기 피연마면의 복수의 곡률중 최대의 곡률로부터 최소의 곡률까지의 범위를 분할한 각각의 구획의 평균 곡률에 근사하는 곡률의 상기 돔형부를 갖는 탄성 연마체를 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는연마 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 선택 단계에서는, 상기 피연마면의 최대 곡률에 근사한 곡률의 상기 돔형부를 갖는 탄성 연마체와, 상기 피연마면의 최소 곡률에 근사한 곡률의 상기 돔형부를 갖는 탄성 연마체와, 상기 피연마면의 최대 곡률과 최소 곡률의 평균 곡률에 근사한 곡률의 상기 돔형부를 갖는 탄성 연마체를 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는연마 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 선택 단계에서는, 상기 피연마면의 중앙부의 곡률에 근사하는 곡률의 상기 돔형부를 갖는 탄성 연마체를 포함하여 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는연마 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 연마 단계에서는, 상기 피연마물 및 상기 탄성 연마체에 자전 운동을 부여하는 동시에 상기 피연마물과 상기 탄성 연마체를 상대적으로 요동 운동시키면서, 상기 돔형부의 곡률 중심과 상기 피연마물의 요동 중심을 거의 일치시켜 연마하는 것을 특징으로 하는연마 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 탄성 연마체의 돔형부는 탄성 시트에 의해 중공의 돔형으로 형성되고, 상기 연마 단계가 상기 중공의 부분에 주입되는 압력 유체에 의해 상기 탄성 시트의 내면에 압력을 가하여, 상기 돔형부에 장력을 부여하면서 연마하는 것을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는연마 방법.
