Description
Claims (16)
- 발광 패널(a light-emitting panel)을 구비하는 조명 시스템(lighting system)으로서,전면 벽(front wall)과,상기 전면 벽에 대향하여 위치된 후면 벽(rear wall)과,상기 전면 벽과 상기 후면 벽 사이에 있는 광투과성 제 1 에지면(edge surface)과,상기 제 1 에지면에 대향하여 위치된 제 2 에지면을 포함하되,적어도 하나의 제 1 광원은 상기 제 1 에지면과 연결되고,작동 중에, 상기 제 1 광원으로부터 생성되는 광은 상기 제 1 에지면에 입사되어 상기 패널 내에서 자체적으로 분산되며,상기 발광 패널은 상기 제 1 에지면으로부터 상기 제 2 에지면을 향하는 방향으로 확장 구역(widening section)을 따라 넓어지고,상기 후면 벽은 다수의 스텝(step)-상기 전면 벽에 대향하는 상기 스텝의 표면은 상기 전면 벽에 대해 실질적으로 평행함-을 갖는 상기 확장 구역 위에 마련되는조명 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 에지면의 표면적(S1)과, 상기 제 1 에지면에 대해 실질적으로 평행한 상기 발광 패널의 최대 단면적(Slcs)의 비(ratio)는,의 관계식을 만족시키는 조명 시스템.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 Slcs/S1비는,의 관계식을 만족시키는 조명 시스템.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 에지면은 상기 발광 패널 내에서 광을 반사시키는 조명 시스템.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 에지면의 표면은 거울 반사형(specularly reflecting) 또는 확산 반사형(diffusely reflecting)이거나, 거울 반사 물질 또는 확산 반사 물질을 구비하는 조명 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 에지면은 광투과성이고, 제 2 광원은 상기 제 2 에지면과 연결되어 있으며,작동 중에, 상기 제 2 광원으로부터 생성된 광은 상기 제 2 에지면에 입사되고 상기 발광 패널 내에서 자체적으로 분산되며,상기 발광 패널은 상기 제 2 에지면으로부터 상기 제 1 에지면을 향하는 방향으로 넓어지는 조명 시스템.
- 제 1 항, 제 2 항 및 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 스텝의 다른 표면은 상기 전면 벽의 수직 방향에 대해 각도(β)를 유지하고, 이 각도는 -48°≤β≤48°의 범위를 갖는 조명 시스템.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 각도(β)는 0°≤β≤48°의 범위를 갖는 조명 시스템.
- 제 1 항, 제 2 항 또는 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 전면 벽은 반투명 확산기(translucent diffuser)를 구비하는 조명 시스템.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 발광 패널은 상기 확장 구역과 상기 제 2 에지면 사이에 양방향 광 추출(bi-directional light extraction)을 제공하는 도광부(light guide part)를 포함하는 조명 시스템.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 양방향 광 추출형 도광부에 있는 상기 발광 패널의 상기 후면 벽은 내부 전반사(total internal reflection)를 국부적으로 중단시킴으로써 광을 추출하는 구조물을 구비하는 조명 시스템.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 양방향 광 추출형 도광부에 있는 상기 후면 벽 위의 상기 구조물은 다수의 스텝-상기 전면 벽에 대향하는 상기 스텝의 표면은 상기 전면 벽에 대해 실질적으로 평행함-에 의해 형성되는 조명 시스템.
- 제 1 항, 제 2 항 및 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 광원은 하나의 백색 LED(white LED) 또는 서로 다른 발광 파장을 갖는 적어도 2개의 발광 다이오드(light-emitting diodes)를 포함하는 조명 시스템.
- 제 13 항에 있어서,상기 발광 다이오드는 각각 적어도 5 lm의 광선속(luminous flux)을 갖는 조명 시스템.
- 청구항 1, 청구항 2 및 청구항 6 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 조명 시스템을 구비하는 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 13 항에 있어서,액정 디스플레이(liquid crystal display)를 포함하는 디스플레이 장치.
