Claims (19)
- 특성 임피던스를 갖는 하나 이상의 전기선을 통하여 다중화된 전기신호를 통신하는 통신 장치에 있어서,각각이 약 200MHz 이상의 기선택된 주파수를 갖는 다수의 변조 반송파 신호를 생산하기 위하여 상기 전기신호를 변조하는 복수의 변조기;각각이 출력 임피던스를 갖고, 상기 변조된 반송파 신호를 송신하기 위하여 각 변조기에 동적으로 연결되는 하나 이상의 송신기;상기 전기선과 각 송신기 사이의 연결을 위한 커플러; 및상기 전기신호를 합체하기 위한 주파수 분할 다중화기를 포함하고,상기 커플러는 상기 송신기의 출력 임피던스를 상기 전기선의 상기 특성 임피던스에 정합하고, 변조된 반송파 신호를 상당한 위상 왜곡 없이 상기 전기선에 통신하며,각 커플러는비자성 코어를 갖는 변압기; 및상기 기선택된 주파수에서 상기 변압기와 공진하는 커플링 커패시터를 포함하고,상기 변압기는제1 전도성 판; 및상기 제1 전도성판으로부터 상기 비자성 코어만큼 이격된 제2 전도성 판을포함하고,상기 커패시터는 상기 제1 전도성 판과 상기 전기선 사이에 연결되도록 적용되며, 상기 제1 전도성 판의 임피던스와 상기 커패시터는 기선택된 대역폭에서 상기 전기선의 상기 특성 임피던스와 정합하는 통신 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 주파수 분할 다중화기는 직교 주파수 분할 다중화기인 통신 장치.
- 특성 임피던스를 갖는 하나 이상의 전기선을 통하여 다중화된 전기신호를 통신하는 통신 장치에 있어서,약 200MHz 이상의 기선택된 주파수를 갖는 다수의 변조 반송파 신호를 생산하기 위하여 상기 전기신호를 변조하는 복수의 변조기;각각이 출력 임피던스를 갖고, 상기 변조된 반송파 신호를 송신하기 위하여 각 변조기에 동적으로 연결되는 하나 이상의 송신기;상기 전기선과 각 송신기 사이의 연결을 위한 커플러; 및상기 전기신호를 합체하기 위한 다중화기를 포함하고,상기 커플러는 상기 송신기의 출력 임피던스를 상기 전기선의 상기 특성 임피던스에 정합하고, 변조된 반송파 신호를 상당한 위상 왜곡 없이 상기 전기선에 통신하며,각 커플러는비자성 코어를 갖는 변압기; 및상기 기선택된 주파수에서 상기 변압기와 공진하는 커플링 커패시터를 포함하고,상기 변압기는제1 전도성 판; 및상기 제1 전도성판으로부터 상기 비자성 코어만큼 이격된 제2 전도성 판을 포함하고,상기 커패시터는 상기 제1 전도성 판과 상기 전기선 사이에 연결되도록 적용되며, 상기 제1 전도성 판의 임피던스와 상기 커패시터는 기선택된 대역폭에서 상기 전기선의 상기 특성 임피던스와 정합하는 통신 장치.
- 특성 임피던스를 갖는 하나 이상의 전력선을 통하여 약 100Mbps에서 전기신호를 통신하는 통신 장치에 있어서,200MHz 이상의 기선택된 주파수를 갖는 다수의 변조 반송파 신호를 생산하기 위하여 상기 전기신호를 변조하는 복수의 변조기;상기 변조기에 동적으로 연결되고 출력 임피던스를 갖으며, 상기 변조된 반송파 신호를 송신하는 송신기;상기 전기선과 상기 송신기 사이에 연결되는 커플러를 포함하고,상기 커플러는 상기 송신기의 출력 임피던스를 상기 전력선의 상기 특성 임피던스에 정합하고, 변조된 반송파 신호를 상당한 위상 왜곡 없이 상기 전력선에통신하며,상기 커플러는비자성 코어를 갖는 변압기; 및상기 기선택된 주파수에서 상기 변압기와 공진하는 커플링 커패시터를 포함하고,상기 변압기는제1 전도성 판; 및상기 제1 전도성판으로부터 상기 비자성 코어만큼 이격된 제2 전도성 판을 포함하고,상기 커패시터는 상기 제1 전도성 판과 상기 전력선 사이에 연결되도록 적용되며, 상기 제1 전도성 판의 임피던스와 상기 커패시터는 기선택된 대역폭에서 상기 전력선의 상기 특성 임피던스와 정합하는 통신 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 변조 반송파 신호는 약 1Gbps 이상인 통신 장치.
- 배전 변압기를 포함하는 전력 분배 시스템에 대해 전기 신호를 통신하는 방법으로서, 상기 분배 시스템은 상기 전기 신호에 대한 입력 터미널에서 특성 임피던스를 갖으며, 상기 방법은,200MHz 이상의 주파수를 갖는 다수의 변조 반송파 신호를 생산하기 위하여 상기 전기신호를 변조하는 복수의 변조기를 사용하고;출력 임피던스를 갖는 송신기를 통해 상기 변조된 반송파 신호를 송신하고;커플링이 수행되는 곳에서 상기 송신기의 출력 임피던스를 상기 시스템의 상기 특성 임피던스에 정합하는 커플러를 사용하여 상당한 위상 왜곡 없이 상기 변조된 반송파 신호를 상기 전력 시스템에 커플링하고;상기 커플러는 비자성 코어를 갖는 변압기 및 커플링 커패시터를 포함하며, 상기 커플러는 상당한 위상 왜곡 없이 상기 변조된 반송파 신호를 상기 전력 시스템에 통신하고;상기 커플링 커패시터는 상기 변조된 반송파 주파수에서 상기 변압기와 공진하고;상기 변압기는제1 전도성 판; 및상기 제1 전도성판으로부터 상기 비자성 코어만큼 이격된 제2 전도성 판을 포함하고;상기 커패시터는 상기 제1 전도성 판과 상기 전력 시스템 사이에 연결되며, 상기 제1 전도성 판과 상기 커패시터는 기선택된 대역폭에서 상기 전력 시스템의 상기 특성 임피던스와 정합하고;상기 전기 신호는 약 100Mbps 이상의 속도로 전송되는 데이터를 포함하는 통신 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 전력 시스템은 저전압, 중간전압 및 고전압 라인 또는이것들의 다른 조합을 포함하는 전기신호 통신 방법.
- 특성임피던스를 갖는 하나 이상의 전기선에 대해 전기 신호를 통신하는 방법에 있어서,200MHz 이상의 기선택된 주파수를 갖는 다수의 변조 반송파 신호를 생산하기 위하여 상기 전기신호를 변조하는 복수의 변조기를 사용하고;출력 임피던스를 갖는 송신기를 통해 상기 변조된 반송파 신호를 송신하고;상기 송신기의 상기 출력 임피던스를 상기 전기선의 상기 특성 임피던스에 정합하는 커플러를 사용하여 상당한 위상 왜곡 없이 상기 변조된 반송파 신호를 상기 전기선에 커플링하고;상기 커플러는,비자성 코어를 갖고, 상당한 위상 왜곡 없이 상기 변조된 반송파 신호를 상기 전기선에 통신하는 변압기; 및상기 기선택된 주파수에서 상기 변압기와 공진하는 커플링 커패시터를 포함하고;상기 변압기는,제1 전도성 판;상기 제1 전도성판으로부터 상기 비자성 코어만큼 이격된 제2 전도성 판; 및상기 제1 전도성 판과 상기 전기선 사이에 연결되며, 상기 제1 전도성 판과 상기 커패시터는 기선택된 대역폭에서 상기 전기선의 상기 특성 임피던스와 정합하는 상기 커플링 커패시터를 포함하고;상기 변압기의 2차 권선은 상기 전기선의 상기 임피던스 변화에 관계없이 약 40~50 옴의 정합 임피던스에서 상기 송신기에 동적으로 연결되고, 상기 변압기의 1차 권선은 약 1~500 옴 범위내에서 상기 전기선에 임피던스 정합하는 통신 방법.
- 디지털 비디오, 디지털 음성 또는 디지털 데어터 신호와 같은 고속 정보 신호를 변압기를 포함하는 전력선 분배 시스템을 통하여 원거리 위치에서 미리 결정된 위치로 분배하는 방법에 있어서,약 10Mbps에서 약 1Gbps의 속도로 상기 분배 시스템의 중간 전압으로 상기 고속 정보 신호를 커플링하는 단계;상기 고속 정보 신호를 배전 변압기를 포함하는 상기 시스템 내의 상기 전력선을 거쳐 미리 결정된 위치로 분배하는 단계;상기 미리 결정된 위치에서 약 10Mbps에서 100Mbps의 속도로 지역 네트워크(LAN)으로 삽입을 위해, 상기 분배 시스템의 저 전압 영역으로부터의 상기 고속 정보 신호를 모뎀으로 커플링하는 단계를 포함하며,상기 커플러 각각은 상당한 위상 왜곡 없이 상기 고속 정보 신호를 커플링하기 위해 비자성 코어를 갖는 변압기를 포함하고;상기 변압기는,제1 전도성 판;상기 제1 전도성판으로부터 상기 비자성 코어만큼 이격된 제2 전도성 판; 및상기 제1 전도성 판과 상기 전력선 사이에 연결되며, 상기 제1 전도성 판과 상기 커패시터는 상기 전력선의 상기 특성 임피던스와 정합하는 커플링 커패시터를 포함하는 고속정보 신호 분배 방법.

- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 변압기는,제1 전도성 판;상기 제1 전도성판으로부터 비자성 코어만큼 이격된 제2 전도성 판; 및상기 제1 전도성 판과 상기 전기선 사이에 연결되며, 상기 제1 전도성 판과 상기 커패시터는 상기 커플러가 상기 전기선에 연결되는 위치에서 상기 전기선의상기 특성 임피던스에 접합하는 상기 커플링 커패시터를 포함하는 통신 방법.
- 전력 분배 시스템에 대해 약 100Mbps 이상으로 전기 신호를 통신하는 방법에 있어서,케이블 TV, 전화, 인터넷, 보안 및 다른 제어 응용에 관한 전체 네트워킹 시스템의 기간망에 연결된 전력선 모뎀/네트워킹 시스템에서, 디지털 신호처리된 반송파 신호를 갖는 데이터가 상기 분배 전력선에 대해 중간 전압부터 저전압 전력선으로 배전 변압기를 바로 거쳐 고속으로 송신되고;다수의 변조 반송파 신호를 생산하여 상기 전력선에 대해 주파수 분할 다중화 또는 직교 주파수 분할 다중화를 생성하고;출력 임피던스를 갖는 송신기를 통해 상기 변조된 반송파 신호를 송신하고;커플링이 이루어지고 전력선 특성 임피던스와 정합하는 곳에서, 상기 송신기의 상기 출력 임피던스를 상기 시스템의 상기 특성 임피던스에 정합하는 커플러를 사용하여 상당한 위상 왜곡 없이 상기 변조된 반송파 신호를 상기 전력 시스템에 커플링하고;상기 커플러는 비자성 코어를 갖는 변압기 및 커플링 커패시터를 포함하고, 상기 커플러는 상당한 위상 왜곡 없이 상기 변조된 반송파 신호를 상기 전력 시스템에 통신하는 통신 방법.
