Claims (5)
- 프레임을 구성하는 2 이상의 M개의 필드의 각각을, 휘도에 가중치를 부가한 2 이상의 K개의 서브 필드로 분할하고,상기 K개의 서브 필드 중, 가중치가 큰 순서대로 선택한 k(1≤k<K)개의 서브 필드에 대해서는 모든 표시 라인을 이용하는 프로그레시브 형식의 표시를 행하고, 나머지 서브 필드에 대해서는 배열순으로 M개에 1개의 비율로 선택한 (M-1)개씩 걸러 표시 라인만을 이용하는 인터레이스 형식의 표시를 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,인터레이스 형식의 표시를 행하는 서브 필드에서의 휘도의 가중치에 대한 표시 방전의 횟수의 비는, 프로그레시브 형식의 표시를 행하는 서브 필드에서의 휘도의 가중치에 대한 표시 방전의 횟수의 비의 M배인 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,표시 부하가 설정값보다 큰 필드에 대해서는, 표시 부하가 설정값보다 작은 필드보다도 프로그레시브 형식의 표시를 행하는 서브 필드의 개수 k를 많게 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
- N개의 표시 라인으로 이루어지는 표시면에 2개의 표시 라인에 대하여 3개의 비율로 등간격으로 배열된 계 (N+1)개의 표시 전극을 갖는 면방전형 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법으로서,프레임을 구성하는 2 이상의 M개의 필드의 각각을, 휘도에 가중치를 부가한 2 이상의 K개의 서브 필드로 분할하고,상기 K개의 서브 필드 중, 가중치가 큰 순서대로 선택한 k(1≤k<K)개의 서브 필드에 대해서는 모든 표시 라인을 이용하는 프로그레시브 형식의 표시를 행하고, 나머지 서브 필드에 대해서는 배열순으로 M개에 1개의 비율로 선택한 (M-1)씩 걸러 표시 라인만을 이용하는 인터레이스 형식의 표시를 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
- 면방전형의 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널을 구비하고, 상기 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널을 구동함으로써 화상 표시를 행하는 플라즈마 표시 장치로서,상기 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널은, N개의 표시 라인으로 이루어지는 표시면과, 상기 표시면에 2개의 표시 라인에 대하여 3개의 비율로 등간격으로 배열된 계(N+1)개의 표시 전극을 갖고 있으며,프레임을 구성하는 2 이상의 M개의 필드의 각각을, 휘도에 가중치를 부가한 2 이상의 K개의 서브 필드로 분할하고,상기 K개의 서브 필드 중, 가중치가 큰 순서대로 선택한 k(1≤k<K)개의 서브필드에 대해서는 모든 표시 라인을 이용하는 프로그레시브 형식의 표시를 행하고, 나머지 서브 필드에 대해서는 배열순으로 M개에 1개의 비율로 선택한 (M-1)개씩 걸러 표시 라인만을 이용하는 인터레이스 형식의 표시를 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 장치.
