Claims (15)
- 액체 금속액(12)을 포함하는 탱크(11) 내 금속 스트립(1)의 연속식 딥-코팅(dip-coating) 방법으로서, 상기 방법은상기 금속 스트립(1)이 보호성 분위기 하에서, 상기 금속액의 표면 및 그 내부의 액체 실(liquid seal)(14)을 구획하도록 그 하부(13a)가 액체 금속액(12)에 침지된 덕트(13)를 통해 연속적으로 진행되어, 상기 금속 스트립(1)이 상기 금속액(12) 내에 배치된 전향 롤러(deflector roller)(15) 둘레를 돌아 전향되고, 코팅된 금속 스트립(1)이 상기 금속액(12)에서 이탈될 때 와이핑(wiping) 되며,상기 스트립(1)이 액체 금속액(12)을 이탈하는 영역(17)에서, 상기 액체 금속이 분리 인클로저(isolating enclosure)(20)에서 상기 금속액 표면으로부터 분리되어, 상기 영역(17)으로부터 상기 인클로저(20)로 흐르는 액체 금속에 의해 금속 입자 및 금속간 화합물 입자들이 회수되고, 인클로저에서 액체 금속(12)의 높이낙차(drop)는 상기 금속 산화물 입자 및 금속간 화합물 입자들이 상기 액체 금속의 흐름에 대한 역류를 초래하지 않도록 설정되며,상기 입자들이 상기 인클로저(20)로부터 배출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 금속 스트립(1)의 연속식 용융 딥-코팅(hot dip-coating)을 위한 설비로서, 상기 설비는- 액체 금속액(1)을 포함하는 탱크(11),- 보호성 분위기 하에서 상기 금속 스트립(1)이 통과하며, 그 하부(13a)가 상기 금속액의 표면 및 그 내부의 액체 실(14)을 구획하도록 액체 금속액(12)에 침지된 덕트(13),- 상기 금속액(12) 내에 배치되어 상기 금속 스트립(1)을 전향시키는 롤러(15), 및- 상기 금속 스트립(1)이 상기 금속액(12)을 이탈할 때, 코팅된 금속 스트립을 와이핑(wiping)하기 위한 수단(16)을 포함하고,한 편으로는 상기 스트립(1)이 액체 금속액(12)을 이탈하는 영역(17)에서, 상기 금속액(12)의 표면으로 부터 상기 영역(17)에서 액체 금속을 분리하고 상기 영역(17)에서 부터 인클로저(20)로 흐르는 액체 금속에 의해 금속 산화물 입자 및 금속간 화합물 입자들을 회수하기 위한 인클로저를 포함하며, 상기 인클로저(20)에서 액체 금속(12)의 높이 낙차(drop)는 상기 금속 산화물 입자 및 금속간 화합물 입자들이 상기 액체 금속의 흐름에 대해 역류를 초래하지 않도록 50 ㎜ 이상이며, 다른 한 편으로는 상기 인클로저(20)로부터 상기한 입자들을 배출하기 위한 수단(30)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 설비.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 인클로저(20)에서 액체 금속의 높이 낙차가 100 ㎜ 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 설비.
- 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서,상기 인클로저(20)는 상기 금속 스트립(1)을 둘러싸고, 바닥(21), 및 두 개의 동심벽(22, 23)을 가지며, 이들 사이에 구획(24)을 형성하고, 상기 인클로저의 상부에서 오프닝(opening)(25), 상기 액체 금속액(12)의 표면 위에 위치하는 외벽(22)의 상부 에지(22a), 및 상기 금속액의 표면 아래에 위치하는 내벽의 상부 에지(23a)를 구획하는 것을 특징으로 하는 설비.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 인클로저(20)의 내벽(23)은 상기 탱크(11)의 저부를 향해 돌출된 하부 및 금속 스트립(1)과 평행한 상부를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 설비.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 인클로저(20)의 내벽(23)의 상부 에지(23a)는 직선형인 것을 특징으로 하는 설비.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 인클로저(20)의 내벽(23)의 상부 에지(23a)는 세로 방향으로 일련의 골(hollow)(26) 및 마루(projection)(27)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 설비.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 골(26) 및 마루(27)는 원형 아치 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 설비.
- 제7항 또는 제8항에 있어서,상기 골(26) 및 마루(27) 사이의 높이 차는 5 내지 10 ㎜ 범위에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 설비.
- 제7항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 골(26) 및 마루(27) 사이의 거리는 약 150 ㎜인 것을 특징으로 하는 설비.
- 제4항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 인클로저(20) 내벽(23)의 상부 에지(23a)가 점점 가늘어지는 형태인(tapered) 것을 특징으로 하는 설비.
- 제2항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 설비가 액체 금속액(12)의 표면에 대한 인클로저(20)의 수직 위치를 조정하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 설비.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 입자들을 배출하기 위한 수단이 흡입부(suction) 쪽에서 연결 파이프(31)를 통해 인클로저(20)의 구획(24)에 연결되고, 수송부(delivery) 쪽에 금속액(12)의 부피만큼 배출된 액체 금속을 충전하기 위한 파이프(32)가 제공된 펌프(30)에 의해 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 설비.
- 제2항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 인클로저(20)의 내벽(23)의 상부 에지(23a)에 대하여 금속 스트립(1)을 배치하기 위한 수단(35, 36)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 설비.
- 제14항에 있어서,상기 스트립을 배치하기 위한 수단들이 상기 금속 스트립(1)의 한 쪽에 각각 놓인 2개의 수평 롤러(26, 27)에 의해 형성되고, 한 롤러는 다른 롤러에 대해 편심된(offset) 것을 특징으로 하는 설비.
