Claims (7)
- 상부 및 하부 평탄면(22, 23)과 상기 평탄면과 접하는 에지면으로 이루어지고, 상기 하부 평탄면(22)은 인써트가 포지티브 절삭 구조를 갖도록 상기 상부 평탄면(23)보다 작으며, 상기 에지면의 단부는 곡선형의 노즈부(26, 27, 28, 29)로서 제공되는 다각형 모양의 드릴 인써트에 있어서,(1) 각각의 절삭 가공용 에지면은 둔각으로 교차하는 부분면들로 구성된 각도로 꺽인 외형을 가지는 것과,(2) 각 커팅 코너의 노즈부는 수개의 상이한 크기의 반경(R1, R2, R3)을 갖는 에지부를 제공하기 위하여 상부 평탄면과 교차하는 복수의 원형 세그먼트에 의해 형성된 노즈 반경면을 가지는 것의 조합을 특징으로 하는 드릴 인써트.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 인써트는 짧은 면들이 둔각(δ)을 이루며 위치한 두개의 절삭날로 형성되는 직사각형의 기본 모양을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 인써트.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 인써트는 반경방향 외부 위치에 있도록 의도된 대각선으로 마주보는 노즈부(26, 29)의 반경이 대각선으로 마주보는 다른 쌍의 노즈부(27, 28)의 반경보다큰 경사진 장사방형 기본 모양을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 인써트.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 인써트는, 뚜렷한 허리부가 제공되도록 둔각(γ)으로 만나는 두개의 내측하부로 연장되는 직선 에지에 의해 에지면(30, 31)이 형성되고, 2 개의 대향하는 허리부 사이의 거리(w2)가 각각의 절삭날의 양 단부 사이의 거리(w1)보다 작은 정방형의 기본 모양을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 인써트.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,커팅 코너의 반경 노즈 칼날(26)은 2차 절삭날(30)의 반경(R2)보다 작은 주 절삭날(24) 옆에 위치하는 반경(R1)으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 인써트.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,노즈 반경 칼날(26)과 2차 칼날(30) 사이의 반경(R1)보다 작은 반경(R4)이 마련되는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 인써트.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 인써트는 각도상으로 꺽인 에지면을 갖는 삼각형의 기본 모양을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 인써트.
