도 4 내지 7은, 실시예로부터 설계된 편광판에 대해 블랙 상태에서의 최대 빛샘을 시뮬레이션한 결과를 보여주는 도면이다.
Claims (11)
- 편광층;
상기 편광층의 하부에 위치하고, 550nm 파장의 광에 대한 면내 위상차가 90 내지 145nm 범위 내이고, 하기 수식 5에 따른 분산 계수가 0.5 초과이면서 1 미만인 제 1 위상차층; 및
상기 제 1 위상차층의 하부에 위치하고, 550nm 파장의 광에 대한 면내 위상차가 55 내지 85nm 범위 내이며, 하기 수식 2에 따른 550nm 파장의 광에 대한 두께 방향 위상차가 85 내지 125nm 범위 내이고, 하기 수식 3에 따른 Nz 값이 -0.6 내지 -0.2의 범위 내이며, 하기 수식 4에 따른 분산 계수가 1 이상 1.2 미만인 제 2 위상차층을 포함하는 편광판:

수식 2에서 Rth는 두께 방향 위상차이고, d는 위상차층의 두께이며, ny는 위상차층의 진상축 방향의 굴절률이며, nz는 위상차층의 두께 방향의 굴절률이다.
