Claims (22)
- 전기수술용 시스템으로서,
전기수술용 기구로서,
제 1 조;
상기 제 1 조에 대향되는 제 2 조로서, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 조들은 상기 제 1 및 제 2 조들 사이에 조직을 그래스핑(grasp)하도록 이격된 위치와 근접 위치 사이에서 움직이도록 피봇가능하게(pivotably) 배열되는, 상기 제 2 조;
상기 제 1 조에 연결되는 제 1 전극 및 제 3 전극;
상기 제 1 조의 중심 부분 상에 배치되는 압축성 랜딩 패드(landing pad); 및
상기 제 2 조에 연결되는 제 2 전극 및 제 4 전극으로서, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 전극들은 길이 방향 축의 일 측면 상에서 라디오 주파수(radio frequency; RF) 에너지를 사용하여 상기 제 1 및 제 2 조들 사이에서 조직을 융합시키도록 배열되며, 상기 제 3 및 제 4 전극들은 길이 방향 축의 대향되는 측면 상에서 RF 에너지를 사용하여 상기 제 1 및 제 2 조들 사이에서 조직을 융합시키도록 배열되는, 상기 제 2 전극 및 상기 제 4 전극을 포함하는, 상기 전기수술용 기구;
상기 전기수술용 기구에 착탈가능하게 연결되는 전기수술용 발전기를 포함하며,
상기 전기수술용 발전기는,
조직을 융합시키고 커팅하기 위해 상기 전기수술용 기구를 통해 RF 에너지를 공급하기 위한 RF 증폭기; 및
공급되는 RF 에너지의 위상각을 주기적으로 모니터링하도록 배열되는 제어기를 포함하고,
상기 제 2 및 제 4 전극들은 상기 제 2 및 제 4 전극들 사이에서 전도되는 RF 에너지를 사용하여 상기 제 1 조와 제 2 조 사이에서 조직을 커팅하도록 배열되며, 상기 압축성 랜딩 패드는 상기 제 1 조 및 상기 제 2 조가 상기 근접 위치에 있을 때 변형되고, 상기 압축성 랜딩 패드는 상기 제 1 및 제 2 조들 사이에서 조직의 기계적 분리 및 상기 공급되는 RF 에너지를 통한 상기 조직의 전기적 분할을 초래하기 위한 압력을 제공하는 미리 결정된 탄성률(spring rate)을 가지며,
