Abstract
Description
도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 에어백 장치에서 보조쿠션이 메인쿠션의 내측으로 턱인(tuck in)된 상태를 나타내는 평면도이다.
도 3은 도 2의 'A-A' 단면을 나타내는 도면이다.
도 4는 도 3에서 메인쿠션이 팽창되는 상태를 나타내는 도면이다.
도 5는 도 3에서 메인쿠션 및 보조쿠션이 팽창된 상태를 나타내는 도면이다.
도 6은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 에어백 장치가 전개된 상태를 나타내는 평면도이다.
도 7은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 에어백 장치의 전개 순서를 나타내는 도면이다.

Claims (11)
- 차량에 구비되어 가스를 분출하는 인플레이터부; 및
상기 인플레이터부에서 분사되는 가스에 의하여 전개되는 에어백쿠션부; 를 포함하고,
상기 에어백쿠션부는,
상기 인플레이터부에서 분사되는 가스가 유입되고, 세퍼레이터에 의해 내부가 복수 개의 챔버로 구획되는 메인쿠션;
상기 메인쿠션에 연결되며, 상기 메인쿠션의 내측으로 턱인(tuck in)되는 보조쿠션;
설정 압력 이하에서 상기 메인쿠션과 턱인된 상기 보조쿠션을 연결하여 상기 보조쿠션의 팽창을 제한하는 팽창제한부; 및
상기 보조쿠션 내부의 압력에 따라 상기 보조쿠션에 구비되는 벤트홀의 개방되는 정도를 조절하기 위해 상기 벤트홀을 덮도록 상기 보조쿠션에 결합되며, 상기 벤트홀의 직경보다 작은 직경인 가변벤트홀이 관통 형성되는 가변홀부; 를 포함하고,
상기 가변홀부는 복수 개가 구비되어 순차적으로 결합되고, 후순위로 결합될수록 상기 가변벤트홀의 직경이 작아지며, 상기 보조쿠션의 내부 압력 상승 정도에 따라 후순위로 결합된 최외곽 가변홀부부터 순차적으로 결합이 해제되며,
상기 챔버 상호 간에 가스의 이동이 가능하도록 상기 세퍼레이터에는 홀이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 보조쿠션은,
상기 팽창제한부에 의한 팽창 제한이 해제되면, 상기 인플레이터부에서 분사되는 가스에 의하여 팽창되어, 상기 메인쿠션의 외측으로 돌출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 보조쿠션은,
한 쌍이 구비되어 상기 메인쿠션의 양측 단부에 각각 결합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 보조쿠션은,
상기 메인쿠션과 일체로서 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 팽창제한부는,
상기 메인쿠션 및 상기 보조쿠션에 각각 봉제 결합되는 테더인 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치.
- 제 5항에 있어서, 상기 팽창제한부는,
상기 메인쿠션 내부의 압력이 설정 압력을 초과하는 경우, 상기 메인쿠션 또는 상기 보조쿠션과의 봉제 결합이 해제되어, 상기 보조쿠션의 팽창을 허용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치.

- 제 1항에 있어서, 복수 개의 상기 가변홀부는,
상기 보조쿠션 내부의 압력이 설정 압력 이상으로 상승되면, 상기 보조쿠션 또는 이웃하는 상기 가변홀부와의 결합이 해제되어 상기 벤트홀이 개방되는 정도를 증대시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치.
- 제 10항에 있어서, 상기 벤트홀과 상기 가변홀부는, 동심원인 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치.
