Abstract
Description

Claims (6)
- 차량 안전을 위한 투시형 광학 시스템(see-through optical system)에 있어서,
적어도 2개의 주 표면(major surface) 및 에지를 갖는 투명 기판;
적어도 제2 광학 스펙트럼의 광파(optical wave)로 구성된 이미지를 투사하도록 구성된 이미지 프로젝터로서, 상기 이미지 프로젝터는 상기 이미지를 상기 기판에 주입하도록 상기 기판에 광학적으로 결합되어 상기 이미지가 상기 2개의 주 표면에서 내부 반사에 의해 상기 기판 내에서 전파되는, 상기 이미지 프로젝터;
상기 기판 내에 배열되어 상기 기판에 의해 지지되고 상기 주 표면에 대해 비스듬히 기울어진 부분 반사 표면 어레이로서, 상기 부분 반사 표면 어레이는 관찰자의 눈에 가시적이도록 상기 기판으로부터 상기 이미지가 커플링 아웃(coupling out) 되는 커플링 아웃 영역을 형성하는, 상기 부분 반사 표면 어레이;
상기 제2 광학 스펙트럼과 구별되는 제1 광학 스펙트럼 내의 조명 광파를 생성하는 조명원(illumination source);
상기 기판 내에 배열되어 상기 기판에 의해 지지되고 상기 커플링 아웃 영역의 최외측 부분 반사 표면인 색채 선택 반사기(chromatically-selective reflector)로서, 상기 관찰자의 눈으로부터 반사되는 상기 제1 광학 스펙트럼 내의 광파를 커플링 인(coupling in) 시켜서 상기 기판 내에 전파하도록 구성된, 색채 선택 반사기;
상기 관찰자의 눈으로부터 반사된 상기 광파로부터 상기 관찰자의 눈의 적어도 일부의 이미지를 도출하도록 배치된 검출기 장치; 및
운전자 졸음 표시를 도출하고 상기 눈의 개폐 상태를 검출하기 위해 상기 관찰자의 눈의 적어도 일부의 상기 이미지를 처리하도록 구성되고, 상기 검출기 장치와 연관된 처리 시스템을 포함하는, 투시형 광학 시스템. - 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 광학 스펙트럼은 적외선을 포함하는, 투시형 광학 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 처리 시스템은 상기 관찰자의 눈의 눈 위치를 결정하도록 추가로 구성된, 투시형 광학 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 이미지 프로젝터는 상기 관찰자의 눈에 가시적이도록 열화상 카메라(thermal imager)로부터 도출된 이미지를 투사하도록 구성된, 투시형 광학 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 이미지 프로젝터는 운전 또는 내비게이션 작업에서 상기 관찰자를 보조하기 위해 이미지를 투사하도록 구성된, 투시형 광학 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 처리 시스템은 상기 관찰자의 눈의 깜박임 패턴을 검출하도록 추가로 구성된, 투시형 광학 시스템.
